The contract was very specific and I new what to expect throughout the season. What I didn't expect was each time the lawn was mowed the landscapers were did not spend more than 15 minutes on the property. I was told because of my location, 20 minutes from there office, transportation was deducted from time spent on the property. This meant after the mowing, the clean up was barely done. All the debris blown into the street and was not cleaned up. To be honest, I was embarrassed at what not only I had to look at and my neighbors as well. I made several calls to Jenn the property manager for our location and a million excuses were made. The last straw was the fall clean up. At the last lawn cut, all the leaves were blown under the shrubs and trees on the property. I spoke with the landscape manager on site and was told this is how they handle fall clean up and another crew would be coming in about a month. I stated this was totally unacceptable and I wanted it cleaned immediately. Needless to say, I was not happy and again I spoke with Jenn who was less than helpful. I requested Jenn to come down in March 2025 to go over what my expectations would be going forward and this request was denied as she stated oh we don't do that. In closing, very dissatisfied with Stefanos Landscaping and unfortunately what started out as an awesome experience has ended in one dissatisfied customer.

Couldn't see at first because the loam was dark, but after it was spread all over the lawn and started to dry out you could see lots of chards of glass and pieces of broken beer bottles. Also had lots of sticks and rocks. We have a swimming pool, we're frequently barefoot in the yard and it's a miracle that no one including the dogs, have cut their foot open. I would have given them 5 stars, but one thing disturbs me. Their estimate included a $0 item for "Parking Permit Fees TBD by your city requirements." The final bill listed this item as $250, which was over 25% of the total bill. When I called to ask why they didn't include that number on the estimate, since surely they had previously done work in my city and knew about the cost of the necessary parking permit fees, the customer service representative was very argumentative, but admitted that they knew in advance that the fees would be $250 at a minimum. It seems deceptive to leave this known minimum cost off the written estimate. I was dismayed by the combative response to my questioning of this approach, and to my suggestion that customers would be better served by including this information in the written estimate. I was further disappointed that the owner did not reach out to me following that unpleasant phone conversation. Addendum: I left a voice message for Ryan after his written Yelp response to my above post, and he quickly called me back. I was impressed that Ryan spent a fair bit of time with me on the phone on a Sunday to further explain and apologize for the situation, and he offered that they would be rethinking their approach to the parking permit fee issue on their written estimates in the immediate future, which I think is a positive outcome.
