We went here yesterday at 8 ordered 2 meals came to $48 one half and half and another full sandwich with soup. On the half and half we asked for no ranch and unfortunately we received ranch on the sandwich so we had to send it back (food allergy) and when we got our replacement it seemed okay with no ranch. After leaving started to have hives and itching and unfortunately ended the night in the emergency seems they didn't take precaution and there was still ranch on the sandwich unfortunately it was too late to fix the issue and decided that it'd be best to leave. So if you have an allergy stay away from here they don't use proper food safety measures. The other meal was okay but definitely not worth the almost $50. read more

We needed a quick lunch and found this McAlister's to be excellent. Service was fast and accommodating. Food came quickly and was hot and tasty. We even had a visit from the manager to see if we needed anything. We will be back soon!! read more

This is by far the worst meal I have ever had at McAllister or any other sandwich shop for that matter. I think I am done with McAllister. Zero quality control. Just a loss for words it's so lousy. read more

My family and I waited for 45 minutes for our meal that we never got. When I demanded a refund, the manager was rude and acted like their ineptitude was my fault. DO NOT GO TO THIS ESTABLISHMENT. HORRIBLE SERVICE!! read more

I am extremely frustrated and disappointed with the service I received at McAlister's. I placed a drive-thru order that was supposed to be ready at 5:15 PM. I arrived on time and sat at the window for about 15 minutes while multiple employees clearly saw me and ignored me completely. I was already pressed for time because I had to go to work, and the lack of acknowledgement was unacceptable. After being ignored at the window, I drove around and went inside the restaurant, only to be ignored again. An employee brought out several orders and then proceeded to help three people who came in after me and were not even waiting in line, while I was still standing there waiting for assistance. At that point, I had wasted nearly half an hour and had no choice but to leave without my food. I left at 5:42 PM without receiving my order and without a refund. Being ignored multiple times and treated as though my time did not matter is completely unacceptable customer service. I expect a full refund for the order I never received, and I would appreciate someone addressing how this situation was handled so it does not continue happening to other customers. read more

Caught a late lunch after a doctor's appointment, so the place was not busy. The service was very good, the staff was pleasant, and the food was good. I had the Pick 2, a half of a French Dip sandwich and a cup of cheddar broccoli soup, and they were tasty and filling. My friend and I could not understand why they got such a low rating on Yelp. Everything was fine for us. read more

Ordered the half soup and half sandwich. The sandwich was great but the soup container was barely half full. I contacted the manager and he stated to come in the store for a new soup. I went the next day and got a free soup along with buying a full sandwich. Even dining in, my soup container was only half full. Why pay to upgrade to a bowl if you only get a cup worth? read more

I don't think there is a slower restaurant on this earth. I waited in line for my online order for 20 min after getting there at reported pick up time. I ended up asking for a refund. Nice customer service, but that's about the only good thing I can say about this place. read more

Tough to find people that can get off their personal phone, be polite and have a shred of customer service. If you can get past the rudeness, the I don't care attitude, the food is very good... the cost of ordering and enduring tips the scales to avoid versus return. read more

Yeah this McAlister's is no bueno, got the French dip sandwich and it is a third the size of the one I got at another location. I don't know if they changed the portions or if this place is just that bad but won't be coming back. For $20 I expect a good helping of meat on the sandwich. read more

this is for the Wadley location. ordered online. told it'd be ready at 5:21. got there at 5:20. 1 large SUV in front at the pickup window. waited. waited. waited. 5:32, they finally give the SUV THEIR SMALL BAG OF FOOD. so, *maybe* after 5 minutes, they could've asked them to go park and offer to bring it out to them, while me and the 4 people behind me *waited*. ya' think? figured the food would be cold since it had very obviously been sitting there, ready to go. so you'd think that they'd get the order right, since they only had more than 30 minutes to get it ready. But no-ooo. 2 sandwiches, 2 sides (paid extra for 1 of them), and 2 desserts. $44freakin' dollars. Guess I should have paid extra for the other side, since they didn't give it to me. never again. NEVER AGAIN! read more

Food was tasty, but skimpy. Not much chicken salad on my sandwich, for too much greens and croissant. Short on the chicken enchilada soup. My daughters salad had a few hairs in it. Definitely not the best time I've been here. read more

Came in to eat lunch with my fiance and not only was the lady taking our order extremely rude and making passive aggressive comments, when she brought out our food she said the names of the sandwich's we got and his wrong she continued to ask " well whose is whose" in a rude manner. Unreal the time it took me to get 1 sanwhich and chips and a drink. 43 minutes and still waiting. Prior to arriving here I attempted to call in an order and was on hold for 7 min.. they never answered. I'll never come back!!! Food is good but WOW. Just hit 60 minutes!!! They literally couldn't be slower if they TRIED. So ridiculous. I came around 3 pm. Not during rush hour at all. There's no one in line - 3 different employees made eye contact with me and no one greeted me. A simple "we will be right with you" would suffice. I stood there for 5 minutes and contemplated leaving, but since I drove all the way across town I stayed. Finally the manager took my order. Waited another 15 mins for my to-go food. A simple sandwich and chips. again ridiculous. Never coming to this location again. Managed terribly. read more

Ordinarily they are pretty good but not today. We ordered deliver for my coworkers birthday. We ordered 3 lunches and only got two. No chips with either of the sandwiches that did arrive and no beverages at all. Most embarrassing was that the person whose birthday it was, the entire order that was not received. I cannot understand how the order was released for delivery when 2/3 of it wasn't there. I did call the next day and got my money back but honestly I'll not order delivery from them again. read more

I really tried with this place. The food is below average for this chain (the "hot" sandwiches come out cold everytime). This last visit, yesterday, a young blonde girl was my cashier. She handed me my sweet tea that turned out to be unsweetened. When I corrected her, she got another cup, pour about 1/2 cup, took a sip and then tossed the remains BACK INTO THE CONTAINER!! Her backwash just went back into a container that they were going to serve other people. So yeah, this place is disgusting! read more

Their Covid precautions are a joke. The 1 person they have taking orders picked up a number tag of the counter, wiped it with a dirty rag, laid it back on the counter and slid it toward us. Tell me how that makes sense? The sign on the door says no mask no entry. What a joke. Also the temperature inside is 80 degrees. Hot as hell. Perfect breading ground for Covid. They have only half their tables available and they were either occupied or dirty. Really? Half the tables and they can't keep them clean. The women's bathroom was disgusting! The front door is broken and you have to pull so hard to open it that my little 102 pound frame couldn't open it. It's sad, really. It used to a great place to eat and the deterioration has nothing to do with the virus. Poor management and laziness are the problem. Seems nowadays everyone uses the Covid virus as an excuse to not do their job! read more

I get to eat with my husband for lunch once a week and often we choose this location because it used to be good. The last 3 times have been horrible. From there only being one cashier during lunch time, to taking 40 minutes to get our food. My husband has 1 hour for lunch and he still has to drive to and from work. I've worked in the restaurant industry and know what it's like to work short handed and maybe this is why I've given them so many chances. I mean the struggle to even get a refill! Mcallisters has really disappointed us and it's just time to find a new spot to get our lunch. read more

This was my second visit... I gave them the benefit of the doubt and went back..The lady that waited on me was super nice...The place was NASTY from the tables to the walls to the floors. The food was half a$$... Was told they had a SPUD, then told they didn't, but when I asked for my money back all of sudden they have SPUDS bc the supervisor on duty didn't know how to refund. The wait time is TOOOOOOOOOOOO LONG for NO REASON!!!! read more

Mcallisters on Wadley has gone down hill completely. I ate here today due to my kids liking their macaroni. I ordered a sandwich that they later gave to me with avocado that look like it's been set out all day and random chips on it..... so I asked them did they mess up and give me an old order. They said they'd correct and then proceeded to give me only a half a sandwich only. So when I asked about my potato salad and my other half of sandwich they said well you had eaten some of it so were not replacing....... like what....I just asked for money back which was another issue on it's own. Willl not be going back. Hate to see a place go down so quick and bad. read more

We've been going to the store on Wadley for 3 years now. At first the service was great but the last few months it has greatly declined. We eat there fairly regularly but tonight is our last time to eat there. The last order we had was not even complete. The manager remade one of our sandwiches because it wasn't even what we ordered. Tonight when we ordered from online, parts of the order were not complete again. My husband went in to pick it up and the girl at the register gave him attitude about the missing items from our order when he mentioned them and even questioned him about it like he didn't know what we had ordered. I understand it's hard right now to keep good help with all the oilfield work going on but this is ridiculous! We will not be going to any McAlister's stores to eat any longer. Slow, dirty, and incredibly sloppy. Decided to go to McAllister's to get a quick bite to eat. Waited in line for almost 20 minutes, sat and waited at a table for two sandwiches and a bowl of soup for over another 30. It ended up being almost 45 minutes. Meanwhile almost all the tables were dirty, plates and used cups left all over for the entire time we were there. Terrible. And at the end of our wait, when we took our food home because we'd already been out for over an hour, it was wrong. read more
