Usually, we have no issues with McAlister's. Last night, their food was fine. Same as always. I enjoy their salads and soups, even their sandwiches are pretty tasty. My kid loved the baked potato she got. And my Other kiddo loved the salad. Idk if they thought I wouldn't say anything or what but this is the cookie that is at the end of the dough that's always low on chocolate chips and teensy tiny. It came with the kids meal we got I can't help but laugh at how ridiculous it is. Thankfully, I'm a baker and we had plenty of chocolate chip cookies on hand for a quick dessert. Great place with something for everyone. The potatoes are great, the chili is awesome and my kids love the kids meals. If you like sweet tea (Texas style) this is your place. The lemonade is really good too. The team members are always pleasant and helpful and the inside is always extremely clean. And to top it off, the cookies are excellent! This place has went downhill. Their soup is delicious, but their tea isn't the same delicious drink as it was for years. They were out of bread bowls on the evening of October 12, 2019. Slow service, but boy howdy were they crowded. We stopped on our way to Eureka Springs/Branson. That's why the slowness. Can you believe I've never eaten at a McAlister's before? I loved the food. I had a grilled ham and cheese. Absolutely no complaints. I had potato chips on the side. I could only eat 1/2 my sandwich. It was gargantuan. I ordered a piece of cake for when we got to the hotel. All of my experiences here have been pleasant. The service is very good and staff is extremely helpful. They never seem to be understaffed or too busy to help anyone out. The only reason I am giving it four stars is because the person who took our order left out some additions on my mom's sandwich. Other than that, the experience was wonderful! When we finished, I wanted a refill, but there was a line going OUT the door. I walked up to the counter just to see if anyone was available, and someone noticed me looking and came up to get me a refill. I've eaten here several times and the tables are always dirty with food left on them. I came in tonight about 6:00 and the same thing. I had to send my gluten free ham sandwich back because they put cheese on it and I can't have cheese. I waited over 30 minutes to get my sandwich back and they weren't busy. We typically have a good dining experience here at this McAlister's. Unfortunately, the last two times we're not. We've noticed the portions getting smaller and the quality of the food and the preparation of the food lacking. My wife and I always order the "choose 2" option. The last time, my "half" sandwich could have fit between two saltines. This time, I ordered a 1/2 wrap thinking there's no way to cut it into incorrect portions. But, when it came out, it was about 1/3 instead of 1/2. My spud was warm but not even hot enough to melt the pads of butter that came with it. The other issue was that there was no place to sit. It wasn't that they were that busy, it was that there were many empty tables but none had been cleaned yet. I don't know if there has been a change in management or not, but I will be sorely disappointed if this downward trend continues. read more

McAlisters is better than fast food but I was never impressed with this location. It seems the quality of the food or the amount is different (less) than the one in Little Rock, or even others. Staff not overly friendly. But they do have free wifi. read more

My 5th and final visit. If they used some bleach in the mop water, I'm positive the odor that hits your nostrils after walking in would be gone, but it's still present. People have always been friendly but the service speed, and cleanliness are severely lacking. The food would probably be more enjoyable with out the dirty mop water aroma. Normally anything I've gotten in the past has been great, but tonight unfortunately was the worst. 2 things that really disappointed me: the BLT was by far the worst BLT I've ever seen/eaten. The sandwich had little to no substance to it and looked like it was put together by a kindergartner. Secondly the host for my to go order was extremely stand offish and needs a lesson in customer service. She'd be better suited washing dishes. She got my 4 drinks and made me go get the tops and put them on. She then gave me the receipt to sign and I had to go to the other register to get a pin. All the while she said little to nothing during this transaction. I'm not normally one to do a survey but tonight was a double whammy! Will never forget! read more
