Every interaction with them has been completely professional. What really got our eye was they are down to earth. We got to express how we really feel and so did they. Both of us having an unfiltered mouth, we knew these are the guys we want representing me. What they charge is reasonable no hidden fees. Thank you both for your work with my cases. Although we enjoyed working with you two let's hope we don't ever have to again!!

Fast forward a few months, as I was getting ready to go to work, I get a text message from the court about an hour before the court hearing with a video conferencing link stating that I needed to be present at 10 AM. I had no prior notice or communication from the lawyer. I called the law firm, and the receptionist told me, "the person who can answer your questions about the case won't be in for another hour, so you better attend." I had to ChatGPT some response/plan as I had no idea what to say or do. About 10 minutes right before my court case, that lawyer finally called me and was asking me about the details of my case as if he had just learned about it. He told me that there was a "glitch" and that I should have been informed about the court case with more reminders 2 weeks ahead of the date. He called the prosecutor to cut a "deal" about 5 minutes before the case, which was the worst deal I've ever had with a traffic lawyer that left me paying near the original fine fee and 6 months probation. By far the worst experience with a law firm. When I hired Melton Law, they were initially able to have my court case delayed. Aaron is readily accessible, extremely knowledgeable and always responds quickly, which, let's face it - when you have a problem that requires an attorney you want someone who will get back to you fast, and Aaron does just that.

I had obtained Aaron Nielson as my attorney and at first it seemed like he was really a no…read morenon-sense type lawyer. Personally I felt it hard to communicate with him and almost scared to ask for advice. But I had made my first payment of 500.00 and he was eager to accept payment but I still felt like I wasn't paying someone to do what it was I needed him to do. Well it wasn't until I was to show up in court Jan 9th 2014 when I was advised by Aaron Nielson that he had already made arrangements and prepared the paper work so I should not be worried. The judge is aware of the reason why Aaron Nielson has requested for the change in date due to his miss-scheduling and double booking my self and another client in his office located in Seattle, Washington assuring me it has been taken care of and handed me paper work according to my recollection and finished by saying it wasn't really to serious if " I DECIDE NOT TO SHOW UP TO COURT IT WOULD BE OKAY" so with that I had prepared all the way up until the day I was to appear in court on that morning I attempted to contact Aaron and got Voicemail I was nervous to appear alone so with his advice I didn't show. Well a warrant was for 25,000.00 was issued and this was at the most difficult in my life. I had a developed a substance issue that I had used to help me cope with the passing of my mother whom I loved so much. When I spoke with Aaron I was in preparation of making arrangements for my mothers funeral with family coming in from all over the world and morning I asked if there was any way he could give me some time to lay my mother to rest and he said and I quote " Well its really up to you but its is very important that we move on this the courts are pressing to throw you in prison and if you would like me to continue working on your case I will need more money. So I met with him at Barnes and Nobles and gave him what money I had to help burry my mom and gave to Aaron 500.00$ he then pressured me that he needed more money. So in the middle of my mom's funeral I had my father leave our traditional ceremony proceedings and in with broken hearts took money allocated to my mother's funeral and gave it to Aaron Nielson and he took the money showed zero empathy and with his phone took pictures and left me waiting for a ride from the book store. After a few emails I had been forced to go hide in the streets and leave my wife because a bench warrant for my arrest and Aaron told me to avoid police until we could see a judge which was 3 months later. My sibling had all gone back to their homes outside the U.S. my father whom relied on my mother to translate was terrified I was going to prison told me not to come home with tears in his eyes saying John be safe. I turned to drugs to cope and when the day had finally come Aaron sent me a letter I got one day before saying he dropped my case because of lack of communication. Now Today 7/20/2016 I called Aaron on the phone requesting if he could send me copies of my payment history and payment agreement this following 3 letters sent by mail and hand delivered and I attempted to fax it but on his website the fax# is missing the last digit I called him to request and was told he would not give it out. I also sent a letter request retainer refund to his Seattle office mail email and today when I spoke with him and requested the payment and payment copy he told me to send him an email with my name and address and he would send me the copies with in 30days and I asked if recived my request for that info 30-60-90 days ago he replied not recently. All I can say is that is has been and cold and emotional road working with Aaron and I just want this money back to pay my current attorney Keith Hamilton who's done some much damage control to fix my issue all set in motion while working with Aaron Nielson and still I have not been made whole. This was my actual and factual experience and still the nightmare continues 30days. sincerely, standing alone
