I contacted Service Care about a Viking vent hood that was not working and they were out the next…read moreday. Their communication prior to the visit was exceptional. The young man who came to the house was punctual, polite and professional. Unfortunately that's where the good things stop. Our vent hood blower is on the roof and despite claiming to have checked the motor, he never went to the roof. I suggested that the problem could be the startup capacitor on the blower and he didn't check it. Instead, after knocking around in our kitchen for the better part of an hour, he tells me that the problem can't be fixed and that the parts for our 17 yr old vent hood aren't available. He searched online, talked to Viking and there was no way to fix it and there was nothing he could do. He said even if he could fix it, it would be around $900. He collected $115 and left. That just didn't make any sense to me. I'm reasonably handy and I went on the roof and quickly found the problem. Sure enough, the startup capacitor was bad and despite Service Care's claim that parts weren't available and my unit was beyond repair, Amazon delivered the $10 part the next day and I installed it in about 5 minutes. $10. Based on this interaction, I can't recommend this company.

I called LG 5-6 times to figure out the issue until they finally scheduled a repair with Robinson's TV. Within maybe 2 hours of getting the repair scheduled I get a call from Robinson's TV and have the part being ordered and shipped within 3-5 days. The part arrives and he drives from Pell City to Tuscaloosa the day the part arrives and within 30 min the tv is working perfectly. As annoying as this process was talking with LG and finally setting up a repair, Robinson's TV made everything so much easier. As he was replacing the parts he explained everything to me and now I feel confident enough to replace a wifi receiver or a motherboard for a TV. I really recommend using Robinson's TV Service if you every have issues, best decision I ever made.

I took my Toshiba laptop to them in March to have the charging port repaired because they quoted the lowest price. 3 weeks later I got it back only to find they had broken the internal speakers. Took it back and again around 3 weeks later I get it back to find they had broken the keyboard and it needed to be replaced. 2 weeks later they called to say they have the keyboard and to bring it in. I picked it up on Friday late only to get it home and find out they had broken the screen!!! I called the manager (Erskin) Saturday morning and he told me to bring it back and they'd fix it. Once at the store he told me they would fix it ASAP and it would be ready THURSDAY! Friday Erskin called and told me, "The owner looked at it and said we're not going to fix it!" This entire process has been a NIGHTMARE! They don't deliver on their promises, do terrible work and could care less about customer service!!!
