I called Mike late at night when we lost power in certain parts of our house. He answered right away and explained to me what our issue might be and scheduled an appointment for the next morning. Mike came on his day off, the day before Thanksgiving to repair a breaker and outlets in my home that were tripping and sparking when they were being switched back on. I called him, and he stopped what he was doing on his day off, to go pick up a breaker and come to my home. Mind you, this is about 6pm at night, the night before Thanksgiving. He came into my home, took one look at the breaker and new exactly what the issue was. He fixed other neutral wires that were loose, and just did an all around incredible job trouble shooting. On top of all that, he went to my outlet that was causing the issues opened it up and noticed it was knob and tubing wiring. He alerted me to the fact that not only is this wiring almost 100 years old, a serious fire hazard, but also illegal in homes that are being rented(which is my current living situation). He saw that I live with my girl friend and 4 year old son, so he took the liberty to make a quick fix something to make sure it was safe for the time being until it could be fully replaced. He didn't have to do any of that, and that just goes to show that for the safety of his clients, he will go above and beyond what is required of him. He treated me with the utmost courtesy, professionalism, integrity, and sympathy for my situation amd deserved every penny he worked for. He even gave me a $300 discount for his holiday rates to appease my landlords who were complaining about the entire situation. He dealt with them speaking to them on the phone directly, and just ultimately made this entire fiasco as painless as possible. I'm so glad I called him, that other electricians weren't able to come for emergency calls, and that he was able to make the trek over because now he will be the only person I call for any of my electrician/household problems. I couldn't have more confidence in his work, his professionalism, his expertise and knowledge, and just all around decent human being that he is. If I could give him 100 stars I would. Trust me, he deserves your business, because I've never met anyone in any similar industry that comes into your home for repairs and house calls who was as amazing as Mike. Don't just take my word for it, look at all the other 5 star reviews he has on here or the comments on his Facebook page. Was very knowledgeable, prices were very reasonable and the owner Michael even worked with our budget! Very nice to see that there are still people out there that are honest and do good quality work! The company Lowry electric tried to charge me more than triple the price we had gotten from MC Electrical for the 200 amp service, some new wiring and a generator install as well as our maintenance plan to keep the generator up to date!!
