He had forgotten our appt bc they were busy on another job that had lots of problems. So to give him another chance I let him know my following Monday was open. He never called so I called him back at 4:30 on that following day. He'd forgotten about me again!!! He made excuses when I called him but he hadn't called to reschedule. So I let him know I'd pass this along on Yelp where I got his name bc it said he (was) 5 Star. I had to call him back. I can understand being busy but at least have the courtesy of letting ppl know and not leave them hanging so we can find someone else. Shame on him!

Turns out it was on the pole and PNM's problem. They came back to explain how they isolated it and made sure they took care of it. So far above and beyond anyone else we paid to come out. I asked for someone to come out to check things and was told the earliest I could get someone was in 2 weeks! Normally, I would not have been concerned, but with the comment that there could be a short, I wanted someone to come out ASAP. Of course, this was July 3rd, and no one was available. I waited until Saturday the 5th, and found that Electrical Services had an Emergency Service, and reached an answering service. The electrician returned my call, and I was told the fee would be double the regular price, or $300/hour. I felt that was very excessive, but because of the concern for the short, I told the fellow to come over. He checked the breakers, then attached a "larger" wire to the existing wire to the plug in the room, and attached that to a new plug in the outlet box. That was it. He stated that should it trip the breaker again, I should call him! That evening, when we turned on the air conditioner along with the overhead fan, the breaker tripped again. On Monday, I called to let them know that the breaker only worked if I did not use the fan at the same time. I also asked if there could be an issue with the breaker itself, because it was most likely the original, and the house was built in 1989. He said, most likely not, but possible. I asked if he could come out and try that, but I only wanted to be charged for the breaker, not the time, since I already paid them $490! I was told he would check with the owner and get back to me. I never heard back. I am not one to write reviews, but in this case, it seems to me that I could have avoided the double rate had I not been told about a possible short in the breaker! I accepted that comment in good faith. I feel that what I paid this company, and what I received in return, regardless of the emergency fee, we a major overcharging and one that forced me to write this review! I would suggest one needs to pay attention when getting information from them!

They came out to Los Alamos, on short notice and after hours for what turned out to be a serious electrical issue. The electrician was extremely professional, knowledgeable and respectful. He quickly identified the problem and showed me melted plastic and damaged wiring that could have easily started a fire. It was honestly a close call, and I'm very grateful for how promptly and professionally everything was handled. The repair was completed efficiently, the communication was great, and I felt much safer afterward. It's hard to find people who are both highly skilled and genuinely trustworthy, and Enchanted Electric absolutely earned my recommendation.

He even invited my wife and myself to his child's birthday. On 8/30 I wrote a check for $2,350 for supplies and labor. The owner vanished. He does not respond to emails or calls. His class EE98 license number is 368578. I am filing a court case with the Magistrate Court in Santa Fe for restitution.

I also filed a complaint with the New Mexico Regulation and Licensing Department that is currently pending.

My parents and I have used them to maintain our gas furnace for over 20 yrs. They even left a sticker "Call Sierra! for maintenance" on it from the last time they were here. Since then my father passed away from cancer. Recently our furnace started to act up (and it was middle of a cold winter) and I called them on behalf of my elderly mother to schedule a visit. After a short conversation with a woman who picked up, where I felt she didn't even try to listen to me describing the issue, she called us the next morning and left a message stating that she is cancelling the appointment because her husband, Dave, only installs new furnaces and doesn't do any maintenance on heating systems that he didn't install himself!!! So much for paying hundreds of dollars to this business over the years and for being a loyal customer, and for leaving an elderly widow with a non-working furnace in the middle of a winter!!! My father kept all the receipts from all the years with all the payments, so I have proof. P.S. After leaving my review on Google, two years later I found out that they made sure it doesn't show up on their business (by changing their address). If that doesn't tell you enough about this business in our small town, I don't know what will!

I felt like they were inappropriate, so I called #1 to review the "other" companies work. They were able to point out the flaws that would block my new heat pump from being green-tagged. They pointed out the green tag was missing. They didn't charge me. So, I called them again a few months later because they proved themselves to be honest people.
