They have a great cat/dog toy section! The store features art and goods from local artists and there's so much cute stuff. I can easily spend 15-20 minutes perusing all the goods. I found the employees to be lovely whenever I visited. They sometimes would tell me about an artist if I'm looking at their wares and I love hearing more detail about things but I never felt pressure to buy anything.  Also they sell anything under the sun here from jewelry to vases to clothes to things for kids and babies. Great variety. I found a random darling egg sticker for my friend who loves eggs and my friend found these cool mushroom magnets for her sister who loves mushrooms. See, this store is amazing!  Pacific Place is a shell of its former self. A lot of the stores have closed and it seems like most people who do come here are coming to eat at Din Tai Fung or HaiDiLao but if you're in this mall make sure to stop by the 3rd floor and check it out! Highly recommend it! There's something for everyone. This store is adorable!…read more I found it via my favorite planners website (they are based out of DC). They had the planned in stock so I made the trek down there. I had to try so hard not to buy tons of things. This is the perfect place to pick up gifts for friends with a wide variety of stuff- from warm winter gear to stationary to natural skincare/candles (Love herbivore!). I got the most beautiful kitchen towels made of linen and cotton from Japan. They are so soft and feel so luxurious. In second thought I think these are going in the bathroom so I don't ruin them with stains :)

It's been around for a little over 30 years and going. Displaying all kinds of art, an artist can seek to have their work here. As a visitor, it's a nice free walk through where numerous types of art, mostly paintings are displayed. The woman who was overseeing the gallery on the latest visit was friendly and spoke about the gallery. She mentioned how artists, regardless of their training or background are welcomed to show their work. There is a Special exhibits gallery which has featured works of the period and a public benefit gallery which are I suppose for newcomers. The art displayed is purchasable and have the prices listed. If you have an eye for art and are hanging around the area, this is a nice little stop in. The Gallery isn't large, but there is quite a bit of work displayed within the space and I imagine it changes somewhat regularly. It's a nice community driven space.

I really like how the displays were well thought out and similar to the quality you'd expect from larger museums that you'd pay more for admission for. I learned quite a bit on my visit here about the origins of the town, famous people, prominent landmarks, and notable achievements from the residents. I also like the amount of brochures available both to keep as souvenirs and to provide additional information. My only criticism here was that the walking path didn't exactly seem logical to me, as it wasn't exactly chronological -- but that didn't really detract much from the experience.

I'm also a lampworker (that's the glass bead with a torch for those who don't know) and this is one of my favorite shops to buy cane (glass rods) and various other tools. One year for Christmas my parents, God love them, decided they wanted to get me some supplies and tools for glasswork and they...well, they don't know much about the ins and outs of lampworking. They knew I wanted some basic tools (since I'm still getting things set up) and some frit (which they didn't really understand), and with that knowledge alone, they managed to walk away with a couple of tools and a box filled with various sizes and colors of frit, thanks to the extremely kind, thorough help they were offered by the staff there. I just wish this place was larger.

The selection was very interesting. The glass is all locally produced right there in their own hot shop. There were some very creative pieces. The most creative pieces were the most expensive, however there were plenty of pieces that were not too expensive. Robin the owner was fabulous and explained how my art piece was made. Since the hot shop is adjacent to the gallery, you can watch the artists make the glass art. It is very interesting and there are some beautiful pieces.

We…read morecouldn't decide on which of three of his works, so we ended up leaving and coming back via email to make our purchase ... all three!! The salesperson, Byung, was over-the-top helpful with our needs. All three ended up needing to be packaged and shipped to us in California. They arrived super fast and in good shape. We'll definitely will be back on our next trip to Bellevue. Can'y wait!

I saw a racehorse with jockey through the window of the Vue Gallery. They were closed at the time…read more My friend owns racehorses, so I thought she would like it. I texted a picture and she said she was interested. She has a Gerstein on the wall of her house, which I didn't know about. I went in the next day and loved all the Gerstein works, which I had never seen before. I purchased the racehorse for my friend and The girl on a bike for myself. Byung took great care of me and was to mail the 2 works in about 10 days, as we would not have been home to receive them. He took care of everything. We arrived home to California on Sunday and the 2 works of art came the next day. I would highly recommend this gallery. Byung is very personable and extremely helpful and honest. I would definitely purchase from them again.
