Had Grasons handle an estate sale and house clean-out. They communicated well, worked quickly (the…read morewhole process from setup to empty house took a week) and were able to get rid of everything. After the estate sale, they had resellers buy things in bulk (such as books), and Habitat charity come last of all and they took quite a bit. Then the cleanout crew for trash and recycling. Victoria started the process by looking over the house and giving her opinion that there was enough of value to start the process within no payment up front. This was good to know, as we all have a budget. In the end, the proceeds did not cover all the costs but TBH, it came in less than I'd budgeted so we were happy. Just keep in mind that your mileage may vary. Understand up front their pricing philosophy, and that a lot of the items may go to bulk buyers who offer much less. My concern was finding a useful home for as many items as possible but knew that in the end there would be a lot going to trash and recycling. We were looking at a lifetime of accumulations.

I had purchased here many times in the past without an issue, but the most recent auction 23-06 I…read morewas left with an abundance of negative issues. I had bid on and purchased 23 separate lots. I had issues with two lots, the first was a toilet advertised as elongated and unused. Upon getting it home and opening the packaging it was missing the lid, and interior tank pieces, appeared dirty/used and was rounded. The issue with the other lot was a Kushlan concrete mixer that was won. At pick up, they attempted to give me a much junkier Ryobi concrete mixer. When brought up the gentleman from the front was very apologetic and attempted to find the right one, a short while later I learned that they gave away the concrete mixer that I bid on/won and paid for. The gentleman they gave it to apparently already used it and had no interest in giving it back. The owner Daniel's only solution is to refund my bid. In my opinion that's unacceptable, I should get the concrete mixer that I paid for, now I will have to order and wait on a full price one from the store which has put me behind on many projects. You are required to register to bid/keep a card on file for the auction because if you are late to pickup they charge you an extra $5 per day per lot. Why is there zero accountability for a business owner to make things right and uphold the binding agreement that was reached when the auction timed out and I won the item??? Extremely unprofessional and they have forever lost a customer who has spent thousands of dollars there and always paid/picked up on time.
