I normally do not write reviews but I don't think I've ever had a worse experience. I am a girl and I don't know much about cars and I trusted these guys. Luckily I got most of my money back but I still put $200 in the trash because they did nothing. When I contacted Byron I told him what was wrong with my car, and told him it wasn't the starter, alternator or battery but he told me it was my starter. I believed them and they charged me $540. When I got there, I paid, then found out it didn't start. I had to start it for them and told him it was having the same problem. They changed out a starter that did not need to be changed and had me pay for it. I asked them to put the old starter back and to fix the actual problem . Two hours after that they told me they still needed another part and the car is gonna have to be there till Monday and it was going to be $450 and they would give me back the difference. It put as much money I could together to get it done and my car didn't start!! Later on Byron gave me a partial refund, and I still have not received it! Furthermore, I talked to Eddie. I told him what happened and he tried to tell me it was my fault because I didn't tell them about the situation. He said that it couldn't have been Byron that told me these things. I'm not lying! I was so hurt and disappointed in my experience here and to top it off I still have a car that is not working The only honest nice person there was Mario. He could tell how upset I was and tried to help. He had great customer service unlike the expierence I had with the owner. Their motto is that they like to fix your car the first time, well mine took all day $200 and they didn't even fix the problem.!!! read more

I was on a business trip and my work truck basically broke down with radiator issues. I stop by the shop and as usual they said they would fix it. Here's where it becomes amazing...The first radiator that was brought to replace the old one was faulty when they figured out that it was 40 it was closing time for them. However they did not close because the job was not done the father of the business drove 30 minutes to get another radiator and they worked literally two hours past closing time to make sure that I was back on the road again. Hands-down the best automotive place that I know of an absolutely amazing people that run this business. Our truck split a coolant hose on a hot day of travel along the I-5. We were towing our 30 foot travel trailer. Called AAA for a tow and had a HORRIBLE response from them. Luckily MB Auto Center was close by. We were able to limp to their shop and they made room for our truck and trailer. They were Very friendly and efficient. They quickly got the parts and made the repairs. While we were waiting in their cool waiting room, they asked if we were hungry and took us next door to get a very tasty sandwich. "Momma" even gave my wife a nice flower pen that she had just received. I highly recommend MB Auto Center for any car repairs. We now have both a great mechanic and a tasty sandwich spot. read more

I had a great experience at MB Auto Center in Castaic. Right before heading out on vacation, I ended up with a flat tire and was pretty stressed about getting it handled quickly. The team here stepped in right away and took care of everything. Not only did they fix the flat, but they also checked all my tires and made sure each one had the proper air pressure so I could travel safely. What really stood out to me was their honesty and generosity--they didn't charge me anything for the help. It's rare to come across that kind of service these days. Byron the owner is a great guy. I originally came in for a quick tail light repair. He ended up calling two auto parts stores and searching online for the part I needed on a Sunday. He didn't charge me anything. And I really appreciate it, especially because I overpaid for the brake lights I needed him to install. Great service and huge patience! I was surprised at how the manager attended to all his customers as he was being yelled at by one of the costumers DEMANDING service because they claimed to have a spot reserved. Honestly I personally would have had boiling blood with some of the words being thrown at the manager. Needles to say I left with a smile on my face. So my Honda Civic has 245,000 miLes on it and a front end vibration when braking. Took it to MB because they are conveniently located to my work. Diagnosed that it had a broken right front control arm, replaced the rotors and pads and got an alignment. My car drives so much better. So smooth. Great customer service too.
