Serafina Boutique sells loads of bags, bracelets, beads and assorted baubles to make your outfit come to life. They also have earrings, watches, pendants and the odd piece of clothing. Everything is reasonably priced but the clothing all seems to be around the $100 mark which I think is a little on the pricey side given what it is - mostly overshirts and smock tops to wear with leggings. They also don't appear to have a large stock of clothing items so if you see something you like I suggest you get in quick. The staff seemed really helpful and keen to have a chat with their customers - I'm a sucker for a good salesperson because there's so few and far between these days. I predict this small business will do well because they have nabbed a prime position in the newly renovated Unley Shopping Centre. They're not at the Unley Road entrance but around the corner at the new entrance on Arthur Street with big windows facing onto the street and the carpark. Everyone who passes can see right into the shop and their displays. Who needs advertising!

I went in there needing a ring re-sized pronto, after being told it would be a two week wait my face must of dropped and they did it for me over night! Good old fashion customer service makes me happy!

For years I'd held onto a few pieces that need repair as I didn't know where to take them. I read…read moresome good reviews about this place on Yelp and thought I'd check it out in my lunch break. I felt comfortable as soon as I entered. This isn't a big glossy store with salespeople out the front and workman hidden out the back. It's a small space with three staff working behind a glass petition and a few pieces on sale in the display cabinets. I had a number of pieces but ended up only getting two pieces repaired this time - I had a battery replaced and links taken out of my grandma's Rado watch and a fine gold bracelet soldered. $35 all up and I got a text a week later saying they were ready for collection. They talked me through why some pieces weren't worth repairing unless they had sentimental value (labour far repair far exceeded value of piece). I'm holding onto those until I have extra funds. The address says 68 Grenfell Street but its easier to find if you enter Da Costa Arcade on the east side of Gawler Place.

Having said that however, the jewellery here is fairly nice and kept simple, with sterling silver displays being the stores trade mark. I have bought some nice gifts from here in the past, and they have been all reasonably priced. They also gift wrap. Best for simple rings, necklaces and bracelets. Put simply, sterling silver and white gold jewellery pieces of all sorts!
