First of all, I had low expectations. Let's be honest. It doesn't have good Yelp reviews. I was in town for work and someone recommended it. I was admittedly torn. Gets bad reviews. Pizza Hut is next door to my hotel and I know what to expect. Regardless, I took the leap. I got a stuffed crust pepperoni with a side of Ranch. If they advertise that they sell large containers of Ranch, the odds are pretty good that it's tasty. Holy crap, y'all. My pizza arrived and it was hot and cheesy and everything you want in a pizza. I have never heard of Mazzio's Pizza but after looking into it I can see it is as chain as it gets. Not the size or notoriety of Pizza Hut, Dominoes, or Papa John's but a regional chain. I placed an order online and drove to the restaurant to pick it up. I was greeted by two friendly employees and my order was ready to go with a smile. I got a CYO Ken's Pizza. A Ken's Pizza is a Thin 'n' Crispy Crust with Ken's Spicy Red Sauce. It was a decent pizza. Like the larger chains, it will do most of the time but you sure can get tired of them if they are all you eat. Since this was my first time, it made for a good meal. Mazzio's is a bit pricier than the larger chains but the service that I received was great and the pizza was good. I have no problem saying you should try it. read more

I've only been here once and one time only because my first experience here was awful. Had ordered my food and was told to wait 20 mins to come pick it up. I get to the restaurant and wait another 20 for them to even acknowledge my presence and even more time for them to actually start cooking my food. Even after all that, I asked for a ranch and they wanted to charge me extra as if I didn't just waste my whole evening for food that was only half decent. read more

We drove an hour just to come and eat here. We were greeted promptly and order taken in a quick manner. The refills were on mark and the only server/hostess was the only front worker working. We went during dinner and still with 6 tables along with my family of 6, she was on top of refills and bringing our food in a timely manner. She done this all while taking care of takeouts and taking payments. I admit with 5 people in the back, someone from the kitchen could have helped her bus tables or handle cashier work while she cleaned up tables. Seriously, this girl was running around everywhere as busy as she was, trying to take care of people in a timely manner. I rate this on service, and the food was great. read more

We always visit this restaurant while we are in Marshall. The pizza is always a favorite and especially when they have the salad bar or pizza buffet. The service is pretty good. The interior has been the same for awhile and could use an upgrade. It's always a hit when we come here. read more

I Ordered a Calzone from this location, when it arrived it was over cooked and un editable when I call for a refund 10 minutes after receiving it, they refused saying that the ticket was closed out and nothing they could do. soo very unimpressed with the quality of there food and Customer service. read more

My family has eaten here 3 times. We usually meet my in laws here due to it being halfway between STL and where they live. The first 2 times we ate we were pleased with the amount of food available on the buffet and the flavor was decent for buffet food. The 3rd time was a HUGE disappointment. We were seated around 1130am on a Sunday. The buffet was not available so we ordered some pizzas and a couple of side. The drinks came pretty quickly but the food took an hour and 15 minutes. My kids were irate and going crazy. We asked the waiter several times the status of our food and he insisted he was going to check but would never come back. I spoke with the waiter after we were done and explained my extreme displeasure with the service. We probably will come back sometime but may take a break for a bit. read more

My boyfriend and I came here to partake in the lunch buffet, and I was pretty happy with the experience. The price was a bit higher than another pizza buffet that shall remain nameless, but the quality of the food is much much higher. I've had better pizza, but for a much higher price. The cookie pizza was one of the best cookie-ish foods I've had in a bit (though the brownies were super-meh). The service was really good, and our server was very helpful in facilitating our buffet request when we had one. The only real complaint I had is that the edge of the crust was a bit hard and just kinda flaky-weird. I'd recommend Mazzios' buffet to anyone in the mood for pizza. read more

While traveling to Marshall to see my son play college football we decided to order pizza from this local joint. When we first saw Mazzios Pizza we all got super excited. In high school this pizza spot was #1 in Fort Worth. We would go eat here at least 2-3 times a week but of course I was young, metabolism was at an all time high so the fear of weight gain was non existent. Okay enough rambling the service was great and the pizza was really good. Nothing like I remembered but after traveling for 10 hours we really didn't care. If you're in this cute town stop here and grab a bottle a wine and enjoy some pizza. read more

One of the worst restaurants that I have ever been to. As my boyfriend and I walked in, not only were we the only the people there, but no one greeted us. Two bored servers said at us and finally after a long staring contest, the male server told us to sit anywhere. We sat and ordered shortly after. I ordered a Dr. Pepper, which came out in a sticky glass, and was extremely flat, and my boyfriend ordered a water, which was never refilled during our hour stay. Soon after we ordered an appetizer, the cheese dippers, which was, hands down, the best thing that we ate there. For my dinner I ordered the four-cheese calzone, with no meat and my boyfriend ordered a sandwhich with fries. After about a half hour wait, our food finally came out, even with being the only people there. My calzone was full of meat and my boyfriends fries had another fifteen minute wait added to them. When we complained to our server, john, who we rarely saw, he was rude and made point to apologize. However, being the fine server that john was, he did hand us our check while we were still eating. To top the wonderful evening off, when trying to pay, my boyfriend tried to pay with a fifty when they attempted to give him thirty dollars in ones. By far this is one of the worst restaurants both food and service wise. I am not one for writing reviews but I would not recommend this to my worst enemy. read more
