From the…read moretime we entered the office, we were made to feel like valued patients, even though we had never been there before. Check in was easy and quick. The receptionist was both very efficient and friendly. The waiting room was clean, comfortable and inviting. After waiting less than 5 minutes, we were called and escorted into a room. The room was very clean and efficiently organized. Since we were new patients, we provided our medical history to the assistant who entered. Our answers were immediately entered into our records through the use of a tablet, not rolling computers or fancy laptops. Dr. Kim came into the room after a wait of less than 5 minutes. She explained in detail the patient-centered way she runs her practice and what we could expect from her as a provider. We immediately got the feeling that she was interested in us as people and not as customers like at the other dermatological practice we were previously associated with. Dr. Kim completed her exams in a thorough manner, explaining as she did them. Everything she needed was immediately available in the fully stocked exam room, unusual for a fairly new practice. Check out was just as easy as check-in. This is not a practice filled with lots of gadgets and superfluous monitors or equipment. Everything there seems to be in line with her patient-centered approach. Located in the West Seneca Medical Park (usually referred to as the "Taj Mahal") the office is easy to find and parking is plentiful. Signage in the complex can be confusing but that is a building problem and not a practice problem. Road access is very easy. Overall, this practice seems to be one that has great potential and should grow as more people discover it. An exceptional provider, welcoming surroundings, exceptional staff and the attitude that you are important as a person, not a number or file, is what you will find here.

She looked at every mark, which is the way it should be. Everyone was so nice & very easy to talk to & explain things to. They were REALLY listening & comforting. This is definitely going to be my new dermatologist. When I first walked in , it was a lot bigger than I expected & it was so clean. They have sanitizer for anyone to use. When entering the office it seems to be unusual in that it shares space with a day spa but in this case appearances are deceiving. The receptionist is pleasant and efficient, completing the entry of new patient information into the computer in just minutes. I was taken into the exam room on time, which is unusual for any medical practicioner, and it wasn't just to wait the doctor entered at the same time I did. Doctor Kim is a "no nonsense" practicioner but that doesn't mean she is uncaring or robotic. She is very pleasant and fully engaged during the visit, explaining what she was doing and the options available. At the end of the visit, she fully recapped what was discussed, what was decided and what the action plan was. Before exiting, she asked if I had any questions and when I did she took the time to provide the answers. If you need a Dermatologist, you could not find anyone better.

Dermatologists are tough to find and Western New York. And good ones are even harder to find. Dr…read more Dee is a good dermatologist. I had probably gone to five or six in the Buffalo area. I discovered some skin cancer so I looked for some help. I had one who wanted to fix my hairline, one who did Magic tricks for me and several others that were just awful. I found Dr. D just after he opened his practice in Clarence We discussed the problems that I had. He diagnosed it gave me a script and in the last five or six years has just about erased the skin cancer completely. He knows exactly what he's doing and he's a good guy on top of it. Only problem it's really rough to get an appointment in the near future. If you need a dermatologist plan on three or four months down the road seeing him it's that hard to get an appointment. He's also got an office staff that are a bunch of really good ladies. They're always bright and cheery make your visit all the more exceptional. I should also add that he has 7 AM appointments. So if you need to go before work it can be done. If you do notice any unusual patches on your skin take it for me don't wait get your butt in there.
