Before you book (I would suggest not to), make sure to ask for an itemized breakdown of the bill. You're getting picked up outside of the boroughs.... DO NOT THINK OF BOOKING THEM! They will charge you twice and possibly three times the regular rate. Do not sign on the dotted line until you know what the grand total is. I made the mistake. They do not take ownership! Billing took three weeks for me to eventually get the receipts. Finally when I received, it was over $500 in total round trip to Westchester Airport. I will never give them business again. Then they went on to state that know one ever asks for prices or complains about pricing???? Really, I don't think so! I would rather walk to the airport (with carry on) then to give them business.

We had been using Barton Limousine for nearly twenty years for proms, weddings, airport, etc. with…read moregreat service. Apparently the business has changed hands and has significantly deteriorated. In early October, 2016, I hired Barton Limousine Service of Farmingdale, NY to transport my better half and two 10 year-old grandchildren from the Bayonne, NJ Cruise Port to Copiague, LI, NY upon returning from a five day cruise on Royal Caribbean. I arranged for them to be picked up at 9:30 AM on October 20, 2016. Grandma called the driver at 9:04 AM to advise him they would be at the dock at 9:10 AM so that the driver would not have to wait for them. The driver said he was stuck in traffic on Park Avenue in Manhattan. He was apparently on a 'money run' by management to collect another fare before going to Bayonne. He showed up after 10:30 AM. 66 year-old Grandma and two 10 year-old grandchildren stood at designated 'Zone 8" on the chilly dock with their luggage for almost an hour and a half! Needless to say it was a thoroughly unpleasant experience. The children were cold, hungry and in need of a bathroom the whole time. This was quite an ordeal for a 66 year old woman with no one to turn to. I spoke to 'Caroline' at Barton Limousine the same day and told her I hired the limo because I had used their service many times before because of their reliability (albeit they are now under different management) and she became quite nasty as the call progressed. She offered me $16.50 off the $179.23 fare which I found to be an insult. I tried to negotiate in good faith and asked that we split the difference and I would agree to pay half. She flatly refused saying it would cost her more in gas than that (wrong!!). After three or four more phone calls in an attempt to resolve the issue, 'Caroline' hung up on us twice, further adding insult to injury. I must give the driver (Craig) kudos for his good driving and even temper. Go ahead and book with Barton's if you want to be treated like crap by 'Caroline.'
