The best surprise was the cotton candy package itself. It included the sugar floss and cones needed for the event. As someone who had already mentally prepared to end up with five pounds of leftover sugar and 500 cones from Amazon, this was a welcome discovery. The kids loved it, the adults appreciated how smoothly everything ran, and I appreciated not having to spend the morning troubleshooting equipment or making emergency party-supply purchases.
