Hello folks, this review is ... wow over 4 years from my initial appointment. As I was booking…read moreother appointments, i realized I haven't had to book a waxing appointment for my legs in years! Here are the results from areas I lasered: Legs - I haven't shaved or waxed my legs in 4 years. No growth to worry about, no issues. The only place I have hair is on my knees as I wasn't able to do laser on them due to scrapes from a running fall. It is funny to see the hair there when there isn't any elsewhere on my legs. Underarms - I occasionally do shave here. I used to have very thick, south asian underarm hair and shaving it just made it thicker over time. I do have light hair growth here, but the hair is so thin it's rarely noticeable. So yes, there is hair growth here but the discomfort of having thick underarm hair is gone! Face - unfortunately where I ended up having the most re-growth. I've had a unibrow my whole life and I was excited that lasering it would make it a non-issue. Unfortunately, I still get my brows threaded because the hair growth was the same. I do think the mustache area an d chin have less hair growth, but there is still more than I was expecting when getting it done. Overall - Nearly complete hair reduction in 2/3 body parts, with one of those covering half of me! I'm very happy and I've been considering if I should go back and do other areas.

They were unwilling to do any kind of refund because frankly the damage was already done. Eventually, it healed, but it was a terrible experience with this location. The practitioner was rushed and more interested in getting multiple procedures done at once rather than the safety of the client. Update: A member of the team reached out and were kind, but they were not helpful at all. Their corporate policy is not flexible, and there are still yellow areas on my forehead where the bruising was.

Very Disappointing Experience…read more I had a 10:00 AM appointment at LaserAway for a Glow Facial and arrived 15 minutes early. Unfortunately, while I was already there, I received a text informing me that the machine needed for my treatment was not working. I was very disappointed because this meant another day wasted and an unnecessary trip. I don't understand why the equipment wasn't checked beforehand, or why I couldn't have been notified before I made the trip to the appointment. When I arrived, the receptionist offered me a different type of facial and explained that it would be complimentary, mentioning that it was a $400 facial. While I appreciate the gesture, that wasn't the point. The issue is the inconvenience, the time I spent traveling there, and the lack of communication before my appointment. I do want to say that all of the nurses who have performed my treatments have been very nice, professional, and pleasant, and I've had good experiences with them. However, my interaction with the receptionist, Crystal, was disappointing. I feel that she could have been more welcoming, understanding, and friendly when dealing with a frustrated customer. I hope LaserAway improves its communication, equipment checks, and customer service. Customers' time is valuable, and situations like this should be handled with more consideration and professionalism

If I wanted to move forward with the other surgeries, they should follow. He advised that a quote would be emailed, which never arrived. I called the office the following week and the receptionist made excuses for the business manager, who was to forward the quote. She'll be back in the office Monday and you'll receive the details then, yet no email arrived. I called a week later and my calls (phone number) had, apparently, been programmed to go sraight to voicemail automatically. I understand that Dr. Chin didn't want to move forward, but why wouldn't he simply just say this during the consultation, e.g., 'I don't believe you're a good candidate for this procedure.' or 'I don't think I'm the right doctor to proceed with this. Let me recommend someone else.'?? In fact, he ended the consultation with "Yes, we can definitely do this. The front desk will provide a quote and schedule, if you want to proceed." Based on this experience, he and his front desk staff were lieing to my face (and ears), which was both frustrating and incredibly unprofessional. If Dr. Chin didn't want to do it, he should just say so and/or have his staff advise. At least, he could show a little respect for others. He should not take people's money (the consultation fee isn't cheap), then lie to them and have your staff lie, as well. If you want an MD like this, he'll happily take your money! I'd rather trust my surgeon, one with integrity and basic respect for potential clients (patients).
