Our interactions with Maypole Properties are very very similar to the reviews above. If there is an issue with the property you will not get a response from John rush for days, and when you do he will give out that you "complain too much" and ask you to leave, even after your 6 month probation period has passed. Here are some issues. 1. Black mold in the apartment, 2. Broken deck which we were told "just not to use" when we viewed the property we were told the deck was shortly getting replaced, 7 months later still broken and we had given up asking. The deck was big and would have been great if it was safe to go on. 3. The immersion blew, we were told to turn the fuses on and off but the thing literally blew up. When we told John he said there are too many complaints from us and that we should leave. 4. We had a broken dishwasher replaced (dishwasher broke from general wear and tear) when replaced the team doing it broke a skirting board and they needed a carpenter to fix it, John would not organise this so we had a hole in our kitchen for nearly 3 months before we left. 5. We never felt comfortable there, we were anxious to contact John about any of the many issues we had as he would just ask us to leave instead of fixing it. We eventually gave up and moved out as it was just a terrible living situation. 6.
