Had a leakage in my apartment and got in touch with Casey Kennedy Estate agents, who "managed" the property on top of mine, from where the leakage was happening. When I tried to contact them through the management company, they denied it and management company emailed literally "they are refusing to contact you directly". 3 days later management company writes to me that a tradesman came in and surprise, identified it's not their problem and I should fix the leakage from their apartment by myself somehow (water dripping from the shower which is on top of my kitchen). Needless to say, after the workman visit, there was no more leakage from their apartment happening. Next time there's a leakage I'm going to document it and go directly to a lawyer.
I think the way they managed the issue is unprofessional and will lead to more problems in the future, which could be avoided. All I was asking was to make an inspection together with the tradesman from my side so we can understand the issue. How they inspected the leakage without me being involved and came up that it's not their problem truly stays a mystery for me. read more
