LOL I've been here several times now, for blood work, ECG, et cetera. And like their Scottsdale Family Clinic on Thunderbird , it is staffed by mostly nurse practitioners, who have worked and earned a Masters Degree or better in medicine. All my experiences have been positive and I have found everyone to be very professional. The only drawback so far has been been Mother Mayo's adjusting of local employee schedules and thus creating odd hours for availability of tests and minor procedures. But what I like most, is their shifting away from their practice of automatically scheduling you and now actually reaching out first, before penciling you in at a inconvenient time. Thank the Lord! He dismissed the complaint and did another cervical fusion. Excruciating pain for almost 2 years until another doctor suggested a bone scan. Scan showed 2 failed fusion screw was floating around up against a nerve.He refused to fix it thank God for a new surgeon he did 2 revision surgeries a year apart. My diet had never been discussed and while yes I'm heavy the reason why and why I can not lose weight (besides not being able to stand up for very long) was also never discuessed. So totally inappropriate response. Fast forward to today, last week I set up an appt as a referral from my PCP and sent a message then explaining I had been rediagnosed with MS and I needed a Dr to keep me on Tysabri could I pls switch to a video visit since I was a prior patient and are there any records that are needed. I also provided a letter from my current Dr with my diagnosis and all their information. TODAY I called in just to see if I could be switched to a video visit and after 20 minutes was sent to some Sonja person who launched into the messages from a year ago on and on about them and I was like right that was a year ago and yes I'm still unhappy with being told that MS pain is because I'm fat wouldn't you be? Sonja couldn't really let it go and relied on patient blaming and being patronizing explaining to me how Dr's work and that the Dr thought it might not be a good fit. I was like okay well my appt is in 2 days you couldn't have let me know this a week ago when I sent the message? Apparently no, even though Tysabri has to be prescribed every 4 weeks so I was already cutting it close. She continued to patient blame and I asked to speak to her supervisor in which she informed me she was the office manager and she would have a director call me, I won't hold my breath. I cancelled my appt it definitely isn't a good fit to fat shame and patient blame. TLDR : they don't care, they don't read their messages and they do not respond in a timely manner so you can get the CARE you need and deserve.

They assessed the information I provided and recommended I check out urgent care at Regent and that they could get me in within the hour. I headed over to the urgent care, they took my information and got started with the review of my vitals etc. They noted that I was very dehydrated and sugar was very high. I was given 4 bags of fluids and a shot for my queasiness. Wendy and Michelle were so AWESOME!! They treated me like I was their only patient. They were genuinely concerned. Very personable, informative and knowledgeable. They were concerned as to why my previous physician had prescribed a total of 3 medications which caused more issues than solving. Needless to say, at that point I asked if I could switch to their office for my Primary Care. Once all was completed with me, they got me the form to complete to change my primary to them. I'm all about recognition where it's due. It is definitely due here. They are the real thing. Their office is very unassuming at the end of a strip mall but the service is top notch!! The facility runs like clockwork. Family members are kept informed as to patients surgery by a frequently updated detail board. This facility has one of the best chefs in town producing tasty hot meals. My husband's steak was tender cooked to perfection and hot. Helpful caring staff are there support and inform throughout the stay. We cannot speak highly enough of this experience. 10 star rating would be too few. Follow up once home was appreciated.
