I went Monday, Sept 28 for .99 margaritas. The margaritas and shrimp tacos were bomb! I will be back!!!

The first impression is that it is very cold in the restaurant so bring a jacket if you are sensitive to the cold temperature. My friend had the Gold level party package booked here but the official photographer was not there that day to give us our official group picture that is part of the package so the server give us more of the round of shots for the party. The food was good here very fresh oysters and the hot sauce they had was delicious. The birthday girl had a good time and some of her friends was able to try new food for the first time and enjoy it. It was expected but a quick warning it can get really loud here at night. read more

We went for a birthday with a party of 14. Atmosphere here is great. On the water which is cute, inside there's plenty going on with music, live music, soccer games, many go for birthdays so you see signs, lights, celebrating often, etc. not as many tables but they make room to dance and stand at the bar. Events and drinks are the highlight. Food was okay, not many options for kids or people who do not eat seafood. Prices are a bit high for quality/smaller portions. Fried fish platters or wings are really the only way to go here. read more

My coworker friend and I went for lunch weeks back. We wanted to try the ceviche but they did not have it. It was a disappointment for us since it's what we wanted to try. We were surprised they can not provide it since it is supposed to be one of their main specials. I eventually ordered the shrimp alfredo. It was ok, fair enough, but not something I'm excited about to go back again. The waitress did a good job, but it seems like she was the only waitress there. The main dining room had high chairs and we were escorted there once we walked in. It seemed they wanted everyone to sit together but it would've been nice to have an option to sit in regular chair. Kind of like a beach place vibe, open, colorful, bright, and spacious so it feels like a good place to chill. read more

The shrimp boil was spicy but amazing! Just right size proportion. And the music not too loud so you can enjoy a conversation. Will definitely be back. read more

I was skeptical of this place due to previous Yelp reviews - and I will say I was proved wrong in the best way! Service is attentive and knowledgeable of the menu. Drinks are great and def worth it for the price (it's huge!) The flautas and aguachiles are yummyyy (My pic is half eaten, we couldn't help it ) Would definitely come back again! If hot and spicy is your thing check it out. I ordered the Marisco Ramen bowl full of noodles and crawfish and was not disappointed. It's a serious bargain for $10.99. The crawfish was both shelled and unshelled, tender and nicely cooked. The red sauce was hot even for me as someone who likes spice, but it was fine with some drinks. Speaking of which they have a diverse menu of drinks and I had a mango flavored cocktail (also a little spicy) that hit the spot. read more

This place was a$$. I've never had to talk about the lamest experience on this app in a long while. The waitresses were complaining about why they had to wait on us amongst each other in ear shot distance as if they didn't want to work or something. We placed a drink order and the bartender didn't even bother making it and at this point we were waiting 10-15 minutes and this heaux still never made a drink or checked on us. I'm irritated at this point. None of the women were that attractive to act that stuck up that place isn't Ojos Locos or Chula's and I'm not sorry I didn't walk into the establishment with 5 extra men straight out of working construction or working as mechanics and welders to warrant the greatest welcoming experience, because it looked and felt like since I walked into it with my wife and friends (married couple) that we're inconveniencing them for not being part of that demographic. Experience was so bad I didn't even want to bother trying the food. I'm sure it probably would've been MID at best. The experience was trash, the waitresses we basura, the atmosphere was less than ideal, and I wouldn't suggest this place to anybody unless you're a bunch of Edgar's that like casually drinking at the bar waiting to see which of these waitresses that consider themselves the next shawty bae and Wendy Ortiz are going to serve you. 0/10 wouldn't recommend. read more

Crawfish was over cooked and lots of soft dead crawfish(we didn't even eat all the crawfish). No chips and salsa here. Only sweat tea served here. Unfortunately we won't be back. Service was ok and the tvs are awesome read more

My first time here with my husband today because I've been wanting to try this spot out for the longest. They do have awkward days they're closed I think Monday & Tuesdays which is when we are usually off. So, with today being Thursday we came in at 3:30/4pm at first we got scared and thought it was closed but it was open. We were greeted and sat right away which was nice. Our server she was super nice and quick with taking our order and bringing everything to the table, so service wasn't the issue, it was the food. We ordered a Coctel de camaron that was actually really good. We ordered 1b of crawfish ( super plain no seasoning we asked for hot and it was not hot nor spicy ) same thing with the coctel it was good but literally not hot at all until I poured the salsa picante Valentina. Mambos crawfish is wayyyy better and seasoned. I ordered the combo jugoso and the shrimp was not seasoned enough, the rice was either old or over cooked and they barely gave any lol for an 11 dollar plate wasn't great. My husband ordered the marisco soup and he also said it was a 7/10. He ordered two micheladas which weren't badly priced but he said they tasted like cucumber. So overall everything was super mid, the only thing I will give them is we actually had good service but there wasn't many people in until the end of us being done which was almost 5pm. I gave them two stars just because of the service being good. Everything else was mid and not seasoned well. Save your money and go to mambos! I do like the ambiance of the place it's definitely more for drinking/ night out. read more

I love this place!!!! I went on a Thursday night. The wings were delicious, the micheladas were also really good. Everything we ordered came out super fast and no errors in our orders. We had a table of 12. The waitress was very friendly and patient with us. Our drinks and food all came out super fast. We stayed for the banda, we had such a great time! We danced, we ate and we drank. A few fights broke out and I was amazed on how fast security worked to move the conflict outside. I felt very safe. The place is huge. Plenty of parking and indoor and outdoor seating. I will definitely be going back. This place was a blast! read more

I wanted to treat my dad to a nice seafood dinner and have seen the hype on IG like everyone else. I wanted to check it out on a slow night before checking it out on a fight night or something similar like a busy live music night. Welllll it was not great, or even good for that matter. 1.) If you're looking for oysters just know they don't have cocktail sauce, after fussing for a while she eventually brought me some sauce that resembles what they use in their shrimp cocktail. Like watered down ketchup. She didn't know what horseradish was even when I described it. I asked for soy sauce for a fix like Vida . I don't know their secret recipe but it can fix bad oysters. 2.) The drinks- ugh. whiskey sour and Paloma for my dad both tasted like teenagers mixing drinks for the first time in their life. They both tasted like margarita mix with a splash of liquor. We switched to beer. 3.) They seriously cut the shrimp shells open but don't clean them. What's the point? 4.) Price. The crappy drinks were about $13 each. Pics will show. 5.) The waitress was missing half the time. It was a slow night Tuesday. 6.) They don't have a drink menu so you don't know your drinks cost a stupid amount until they bring the tab, and either does the waitress. She knows nothing. But she actually was the one that made the drinks i was facing the bar and watched her. 7.) The shrimp are overdone and stuck to the shell. I gave up on peeling and just decided to drink instead of eating. The only good thing we had was the little sauce that came with the boiled shrimp. Overall they have a long way to go. Come here for a hang out to drink beer, not for quality of food or drinks. I regret this dinner. We should have gone to Vida Mariscos or Culichi Town. Golden seafood or Mambos for food. This was a waste of money. read more

Food is very good. Micheladas as well, they're $1 on Thursdays! Service could be better. Our waiter was all over the place and by midnight we couldn't even get anything on order. Mayitos Mariscos & Wings - Ceviche and aguachiles - Seafood Near Me - Houston, Texas

The food is ok. The establishment is mainly to come sit down and have a drink (beer) because the menu is VERY limited. The only reason it has 2 stars and not 3 is because all hostess along with our on-duty waitress EAT ON THE JOB. AT THE DOOR sucking on their fingers as people walk in.I find it super disgusting and unsanitary especially when the hostess are back and forth picking up menus as they seat customers down. And on the other hand, my waitress is serving me with my plates and my check at the end of the service. And come dressed as you are. All the employees dress in crocs, shorts. A little unprofessional but Mayitos is definitely a reflection of that. read more

Service- Felt uncomfortable when we asked the waitress for salt and pepper, she took the salt from the table next to us. They were still dining and we're obviously displeased by the situation. Shots- saliva produced in my mouth for 10 seconds will sum up the size of the $10 shot. Food- Oysters, no horse radish, and we're charged $1.99 for crackers! If paying extra for crackers is a thing, At least provide me with utensils. Empanadas- crispy out side, cold on the inside. Restrooms- Bathroom stalls- 3 in the ladies room and all were out of order. read more

Excellent seafood, fresh, tasty, big open garage type doors make feel more like eating in a patio, rather than in a closed environment. Great waitress service. Definitely coming back. The alcoholic beverages were good, the food was ok... nothing to brag about, they messed up our order and blamed it on " the new cook" and didn't offer to replace it. . But PLEASE MAKE SURE YOU CHECK YOUR RECEIPT!! They charged me for my food AND another customer. I am all about customer service and they had THE WORST!! The servers and managers are rude. Even When I called to speak to a manager another day about the issue I got no response. I'm sorry to say but I will not be going back! We went for a birthday party that we had everything went fine with the restaurant specially with the crawfish, butt the micheladas they are usually $1 on Thursday but $8 on other days that day we got 4 of them that tasted like cucumber water with a little taste of beer and we had won 6 shot which came out to be only 2 of them nd a veryyy dry cake that we left there HERE COMES THE FUNNY PART -when we were about to pay 2 of had got the same thing but one of them came out to be more expensive probably bc only one of us was special i but no we told the waitress about it then after like 15m she came back saying MY MANAGER SAID IT WAS A PROBLEM WITH THE SYSTEM BEING AROUND $50 less of the actual price at the end we payed and left(if you gonna go to this place only go to drink some beer) thats the only real drink they have beside the flavorless shots and margaritas. read more

Terrible service , the music is so loud in that place that you can't even have a conversation.

The waitress that attempted to serve us today did not speak English. This place is a Mercenary Restaurant that only wants to take advantage of your MONEY and only CARES ABOUT MONEY. One of the worse experiences. We arrived at 8:40 pm, they told us there's a waiting time of 40 min. So far ok most restaurants have a waiting time. Then a guy comes to the door basically SELLING THE TABLE. He said there's a table available only for whoever purchase a bottle of liquor can get the table. Really??? Then he comes out again, there's another table available only if buy a bottle of liquor. I couldn't believe this, so what's the purpose of having a waiting list??? Why keep people waiting if they only care about money and NOT customer service. After they make us wait 1 hr we left. We asked several times if the table was available. They keep saying this over n over "we got 3 lists of waiting" All is a lie they kept letting people in "only" if they are willing to pay for a liquor bottle. We never said we left and they never send the text if the table was available. Just a terrible experience with this Mercenary restaurant. I'll do some research to file a claim about this type of services they do. read more

I went to have a drinks with my boys on a Thursday and it was pretty good deal with the .99 cents micheladas BUT decided to order shots and they brought us a shot glass with just less than a quarter of the shot glass . We were so shocked of how little of a shot that was that we had to ask the waitress to take it back and re do it and in return the bartender told the waitress to tell us that that's how the shots were done in there so after that we payed the tap and left . DONT GET SCAMMED . Be careful with what you buy . read more

The worst customer service, the food is good but the servers are rude. I ordered a beer on tap and he brought me a bottle. So i told him I ordered on tap and he said that the next one I would order would be on tap Bc he had already rang it it. Ok then ask tap or bottle unless the servers don't even know what you are selling behind the bar. I asked for a drink menu, he said there was none to ask him for anything and they would make it. Because there is no bar manager, clearly bc the bartenders looked bored like they did not want to be there. Then my server sits down in front of me to eat. So we all wanted another round and ended up leaving. Servers were eating pizza near the bar another server was eating pizza while she was cleaning a table. First of all, yuckkk second yuckkkk and third COVID? I know what kind of place it is but care for the guests that come in and pay. I am a bar manager in several cities. The "managers" were just standing there looking out for the wrong things. I could not understand why it's ok to eat while you have guests, no hand washing no shits given. read more

It was our first time here, the service was good and the place is nice but the food is too pricey for the amount served.
