My experience with this moving company was beyond disastrous. Moving is already stressful, but they managed to turn it into an absolute nightmare with their negligence, dishonesty, and complete disregard for customer service. From the very beginning, they handled my belongings carelessly. While packing in front of me, one of the movers broke my olive tree pot--an early sign of what was to come. When my belongings finally arrived in Michigan, I discovered that my jewelry case, which was inside my dresser, was missing--along with all my jewelry. My TV, which had been in perfect condition, now has two scratches on the screen, and my stepladder never made it to my new home. When I called to report these issues, the company's response was beyond infuriating. Instead of taking any responsibility, they were dismissive, unhelpful, and unwilling to make things right. Rather than addressing my concerns directly, they tried to push for a mediator--clearly more focused on protecting their own pockets than fixing their mistakes. This company has no understanding of customer service, accountability, or basic professionalism. They take your money, mishandle your belongings, and then refuse to take responsibility for their negligence. I wouldn't trust them to move a single box, let alone a household full of valuables. If you care about your possessions and your sanity, stay far away from this company. If you have anything of high value or fragile, I would recommend NOT using this company. It was between Allied and Mayflower and I choose Mayflower because it was less expensive, but knowing what I know now, I would have gone with Allied. Three furniture items were damaged, one item missing and many boxes damaged. We even had a box delivered that was not ours which they put back on the truck. Thank goodness I bubble wrapped most things and packed things carefully so they were not damaged even though boxes were dented/smashed. Boxes labeled fragile or high value were stacked at the bottom with heavy boxes stacked on top (horrible). The movers (agency employees) in Florida were rude and not careful with items. The first items off the truck were a printer and shredder which they dropped both of them on the cement. They were not damaged but it only got worse from there. They only cared about rushing so they could get home and we were the first and only stop for them that day. I did file a claim and was told someone would contact me within 48 hours which actually took a week for someone to contact me and then schedule for someone to come out not until 3 weeks later. Mayflower, Corrigan and Premiere Relocations are all affiliated. After I hired John Hopkins from Mayflower to relocate me, he quoted me one price, directly engaged his sister company Corrigan/Premiere Relocations to pick up my items and demanded a payment more than $3,000 above what was quoted before returning my household and personal items. T Corrigan also delivered my items with none of the tools they removed to set up my beds and other furniture that needed to be reassembled. The move was a nightmare, it took hours longer than expected, and was very disorganized. These companies cannot be trusted. If you can avoid using Premiere Relocations, Corrigan, and Mayflower, please do. Zero stars! read more

We recently moved 1 mile down the road and hired premier to help with the move. About 30 minutes after being their the mover mentioned there was a stain on my couch and said it was not them. I didn't think anything of it as the mark was small and i honestly didn't remember if it was their at the time. At the end of the move while the crew was removing all of the protection from the stairs and cleaning up the tape and boxes the driver rushed me through paperwork saying they had an overnight drive to South Carolina and needed to get on the road. While rushing me through he handed me a sheet of paper and said this just confirms we didnt cause any major damage. They did not advise that I should go check the old house after their second load and that signing this would waive liability of anything or i would have checked thoroughly. Thats what I get for being a trusting person and understanding they were in a rush to leave. I now realize the reason they forced me through signing so fast is because they were trying to hide the fact that there were black grease marks all over my new carpet on the stairs(THAT WERE COVERED WHEN I WAS FILLING OUT THE PAPERWORK) as well as the stairs at my old house. The marks were consistent with stain on the couch and the carpet was installed the day before so I know there is no way it was not from the movers especially with it being at the old house, the new house, and the furniture. It was a black grease like substance probably from the truck or dolly. THIS PLACE IS FULL OF SCAM ARTISTS THEY LED US ALONG FOR 2 WEEKS KNOWING WE ARE CLOSING ON THE SALE OF THE OLD HOME NEXT WEEK SAYING THEY WOULD MAKE THIS RIGHT. I used Premier Relocations (Mayflower) on 2 separate moves in the past. So when this move came up I contacted them again This time I needed help with packing too. So they assigned me to a coordinator named Erin She was horrible. She never communicated anything. On the day the packers arrived I was never informed of time. I woke up to 4 guys standing in my doorway, so I had not choice but to show them around and what needed to be done. I had not even had a chance to get valuables out. So around 11 am I went to take one of my pain pills and noticed that the bottle was 3/4 empty, I had just had them filled the week prior for 180, I had 15 left. His name was Odie. So I contacted my coordinator, and she said she would report it, I asked why I wasnt notified as to the time they were coming and she said it slipped through the cracks. Then they left for lunch for an hour, upon their return they were acting strange. The guy who was in my bedroom spent more time on the phone then packing. Since I was not informed of timing of their arrival I had a small jewelry box with a simple lock on it that help my good jewelry that was handed down from my mom. At 3:30 they left suddenly. Said they would be back the next day to finsih up. So I took my valuables to my girlfriends that night. When I got there I went to show my girlfriend my mothers jerelry and I opened the box. EVERYTHING was gone!!!! Of coarse it was Odie's nephew who was packing my bedroom. I called Mayflower but of coarse no one was there. I called the police and I immediately contacted the police and filed a police report. I also tried contacting the General Manager Les Bigel, who of coarse never return any of my calls until I mentioned the police were involved. He said he would cooperate with the police. The police attempted for over a week to get the names and contact info on the packers and Mayflower dragged their feet. Finally when dectectives got involved they gave up the info. I have not heard one word from anyone at Mayflower, I know it is an ongoing investigation. Apparently Oddie was telling other employees that I poured my pain meds down the drain. Why on earth would I do that. The next day when the movers showed to start loading, they were floored by the lack of packing that was done. My house was very large with a pole barn They had to spend the next 5 hours finishing the packing. Which threw my complete move out date an extra day. My belongs needed to be in storage for a month. My new coordinator hasnt been much help either. Fast forward to my move in day. The movers showed on time and began the task of unloading, which they were wonderful. As I started unpacking boxes, which I have over 497 boxes, I was being very careful just incase they got nervous and put the jewlery back in another box, but that didnt happen. I started opening huge boxes and would find for example 2 plastic wine glasses and tons of paper. Remember I am being charged by the box when packing. what was marked on the boxes had nothing to do with the contents. I called Marrissa several times (who is my new coordinator) and all she woud say is "I am so sorry". I couldnt get Tv service in my house til I could find all power cords and boxes. Wouldnt you think you put all that stuff in 1 box and mark it accordingly? Oh no, I finally found them in a box marked Misc Basement items. Lamp shades packed with heavy items so they are trashed. I box marked fragile, and it was nothing but a bunch misc stuff without any paper in it. This whole move has been a total nightmare. The way Mayflower has handled this situatuion has been terrible. Still nothing from the General Manger. He wont even return calls NOTHING. Supposedly these packers are licensed nad bonded, but I can guess that is probably not true. I WILL NEVER USE MAYFLOWER AGAIN!!! I want my stuff back and these POS prosecuted. The only thing Premier has done is ask me to fill out a claim form. I hired Premier Relocations whose Parent Company is Mayflower recently for a cross country move and I am unhappy with the service for a few reasons. If you choose to go with Mayflower know that your glass tables or anything that has a glass top WILL NOT be reassembled, even after they have disassembled them. This was not explained to me prior to the move. I have 12 glass tables/pieces of furniture including a large glass top entertainment center. Three in particular are glass tables that must be screwed together which the movers refused to reassemble. I hired Mayflower a few years ago and they re-assembled these exact SAME three glass tables with no problem. I cannot understand why this company thinks it is reasonable for a customer to lift very heavy glass, let alone re-assemble something that they did not disassemble in the first place!! read more

Our experience with this company would have been better if they would have honored their contract for Full Value Protection after causing damage to my deep freezer. Before loading my freezer the foreman of the crew noticed ice was still in the freezer. He became angry and tossed my freezer on the ground several times (trying to dislodge the ice?) After this the freezer was tossed upon other items in the truck. This caused several dents on the freezer. When I filed a complaint to get recompense for the damage I was told that the moving crew denied any wrong doing, stating that the freezer was damaged before the move. I would never use this company again and I advise anyone who uses them to take pics of all your merchandise before it is moved and the $70 fee charged for the full value protection against damage to your items is a wasted fee. We recently moved from Michigan to a new development in Florida, and everyone here has a story about their movers. No one has had a better experience than us. Every employee from start to finish was responsive to our needs and honored their commitments to us, even though we had to reschedule our move several times.The closing on our old house was scheduled for the day after packing. When the packers tracked some dirt on our carpet, Marissa had it cleaned before the closing. Our buyers never knew. The movers tracked every item in our move, and did not leave our new house until every item was accounted for. I wouldn't choose anyone else. read more

We recently moved from Michigan to Kansas and Premier was great to work with. Their bid was fair and easy to understand. Marissa was my moving coordinator and she did a wonderful job making sure we understood the charges, our load and delivery dates, etc. Our packers were efficient and friendly. The men who loaded the truck were hard workers and were really careful with our furniture. The truck arrived exactly when we had requested and they were quick to get everything unloaded. The coffee table and a bed got minor scratches that got professionally fixed today and look as good as new. We have moved with Mayflower before and I felt that they were an honest and fair company to work with. read more

I recently moved from Michigan to Texas and Premier did an outstanding job start to finish. Their salesman, packers, inside coordinator and driver were fast, efficient and on time. I believe they price and are competitive on a general basis but I do not like their pricing tactics. I have come to understand that they do it the same way as the industry, but the estimate of number of boxes was overstated to the actual amount and I had to argue after the fact. I would use them again, but I suggest one has them price on the exact use of materials and weight vs going with an estimate. read more

We hired Premier Relocations to move our family cross country, which was a terrible decision. Nothing was done as told/expected from pick up to drop off. We had to file (2) separate claims, one for delay and another for damage, which is an enormous waste of time and frustration. Our delivery was received days past their "guaranteed date". Many of our possessions were received damaged, due to the truck being poorly packed in Michigan. The damage claim is in arbitration, which is another huge headache, and its been months since we arrived. I cannot express how disappointing and unprofessional they were in handling our move. We moved locally about 1 1/2 hour away, We had someone come to our house to give us an estimate. We explained to them at that time that our new home was on a dirt road and a large moving van would not be able to make it in the driveway. We had already moved a large portion of our things. Our estimate was $1919.32. On moving day we had family from the other side of the state come to help us with the move. The movers pulled up in the biggest truck they own and began to tell us that had more to move then what they thought we'd have. The new amount of our move now changed to $4558.64. More then twice the original quote. The next surprise was when the van arrived at our new home and could not get down our driveway because it could not maneuver on the dirt road to turn in. This was on a Friday so the van had to go back and could not return until Monday with a rented u haul to bring our belongings down the driveway. This cost us and additional $780.00!! They had our furniture so we had not options. They broke numerous plastic parts on our expensive elliptical cross trainer, my cedar chest from my high school graduation was badly scratched, only five of our six custom made blinds made it here, we had one whole box with just one lamp shade in it, we had and empty box packed, and our heavy expensive king size bed was installed backwards so that when I went to raise my head my feet went in the air! We did try to call this company and our calls were never returned. read more

I can't comment on them doing an actual move, but will let you know that I wanted to use this company. I called to schedule a quote wanting to have someone walk thru my home. I was told the lady that handles that was at lunch and I should leave a voice mail then she'll call me right back. Well, I waited almost 3 hours (how long is lunch?) and then called back myself.. I wish I could remember her name, because this company needs to know how rude she can be.. When she answered, she advised me that she's very busy and still calling people back from the day before!! Excuse me??? Not my problem you're too busy!! A customer should never be told that.. I was so taken aback, I said well should I just deal with the other company I called? I truly said it in a civilized tone.. She replied, that's not what I said, but if that's what you want to do..and SHE HUNG UP ON ME!! I then called the main 800# on the Internet for Mayflower (Premier is a franchise) and I informed the rep how I was treated. He acted as if he didn't care and asked what I'd like him to do about it!! AWFUL company and management. I typically only leave good reviews for companies, but I have to share how awful my experience was with premier. Moved from Grand Rapids, MI to Orlando, FL last month and paid extra $$ for a container program that was guaranteed to arrive on a specific date (we couldn't do any other date due to work and our wedding). My fiancé and I both took off 2 days of work to unpack for the move and Premier never showed up. The next day, no show. We were furious and finally got a call TELLING us the time they'll arrive, 2 days later, not even allowing us to choose a time frame that works for us, causing my Fiancé to miss one of our big wedding events. The customer service was so awful. I was being calm, cool, and collected, and they were extemely unapologetic. We asked for a discount due to the hassle, and all they offered (after much begging and arguing, mind you) was a "good deed" amount that was less than 1/10th of the total price of the move, not to mention the days of work we missed. In addition, Two of our large items were completely broken (large mirror shattered into pieces and hallway table busted open). We were told to submit a claim, another company came to assess, and I just got the review back. They are offering less than half of what we claimed for the mirror, and denied the claim on the table! The damage was entirely their poor handling and they won't take responsibility for it. So upset that I chose premier over another company. They suck you in with their "guarantees" and then screw you over. STAY AWAY FROM PREMIER!!!! read more

We used this company to move 2 miles 2 weeks ago. Horrible service. Took over 13 hours to move half my house. Didn't even unwrap tvs or anything else. Put stuff everywhere even though it was marked. Still can't find my stand for the bottom of my tv! Crazy expensive for really bad service. Some damage to a few things but we signed no damage as it was late and we didn't have a chance to really look at anything. Still digging out from their mess they left us! The salesman Chuck Jerore impressed my 86 yr. old mother and myself. He seemed to be professional, knowledgeable, and honest. But the only thing he was is a GREAT salesman. The movers that showed up on moving day were on a small local truck not for interstate move. We were told our belongings would go to local storage for a week despite the fact that when I had asked Chuck if the move would be done directly with no storage he assured that Premier Movers would not mean local storage. Run from this company!!! I have been waiting several months to list a review. We have had the exact experience as the previous poster who is now in arbitration. We have been through hell with Premier and Mayflower since August 2014 when we moved from Michigan to California. I'm posting this review because they need to be called out and publicly shamed. Anyone who is even considering this company needs to take heed of this review and all negative reviews. Moving is a stressful experience and no one deserves to be put through the pain that we are still going through almost one year later. Almost every piece of wood furniture had scratches, nicks, or abrasions. Two antiques pieces were damaged. Forget about claims. They'll offer a pittance. Forget about arbitration. It's wired. Forget about honesty. The appraiser is questionable. He called a large abrasion on a leather insert a water spot. The truck driver we had has questionable integrity. He lied about the source of damage to our furniture...cats and dog...we have no pets! Then he said we hid them on moving day. They have a good song and dance at the front end...just wait until the move. If you are a victim of their sloppiness be prepared for a futile battle. I have to agree with a lot of these other posts on this company, AWFUL !! We hired this company also to move us from Michigan to Colorado. It is so hard these days to hire a company with some ethics, it's all about money these days, and this company is a great example of that. I wish I would have read these other reviews before hiring this company. It started out with a really nice salesman telling me how great this company is, and how they will take such great care of your things. Not the case. They convinced me to take the full insurance on my items, so I did, thinking this would cover me 100%. He said, "we will replace it if we break it." Also not the case. From the time the driver and 1 mover came into my house, it was a dissaster. The mover kept dropping my boxes, even the ones that said "Fragile." When I mentioned it to him, he just laughed. When my things arrived, there was a lot of damaged items, furniture to plates. The salesman assured me that they pack things so tight, damage is very rare. So then came the claim, and the adjuster came out, he put down that a lot of it was not transit damage and they would not cover it. Well, when I called Premier, they were very rude and stated there was nothing they could do. I told them that the reason I took the full insurance was for the coverage, and she responded that it was just too bad. So it is all a big scam, you give them money for the insurance, and when you make the claims, they rig it so you get back the same amount that you put into it. It's a joke. I definitely am going to follow up with the BBB, but I did not want to go through the aggravation of hiring a lawyer and going to court with these people, the move was stressful enough. I believe in what goes around, comes around, and these people will get whats coming to them someday. People please don't put yourself through this aggravation, it's so not good.
