When we first brought my daughter to Meredith she was struggling greatly. She now has a better foundation and a safe place to talk about whatever she might need. I highly recommend Meredith for any of your counceling needs. She has been wonderful with my daughter!

I first want to advise that this practice is made up of partners in the firm (much like a law firm)…read moreas well as therapists in training, therapists who rent office space and 2 psychiatrists who are independent contractors. Giving all of Pathway 1 star because you didnt have good results with one therapist is irrational and does not represent the entirety of the practice and the good it does in the community. All of the practictioners here take different types of insurance, some take Medicare and Medicaid, and have different hours and availability. I have been a patient of Darrin Bronfman, LCSW for over 9 years now. We meet together on a weekly basis to address issues related to my diagnosed bipolar disorder, borderline personality disorder and PTSD. During the years i have taken jobs which required travel or had medical issues that kept me homebound and we still met via phone or Skype on a weekly basis. Mr. Bronfman has always made himself available for after hours coaching in emergency situations by email or phone. He takes more of a psychodynamic approach to therapy, combining cognitive behavioral and DBT concepts in as well. I have improved significantly in the last few years thanks to his coaching and support. Mr. Bronfman has also successfully met with friends and family members of mine over the years to help them understand my illness and behavior. For several years I was in a dating relationship and Mr Bronfman referred us to one of his trainees for couples counseling. The trainee was well educated and supervised throughout her work with us. She helped us come to the difficult yet necessary decision that our relationship was not sustainable. We appreciated her guidance and were able to remain friends beyond. The trainee has since gone on to maintain her own successful practice elsewhere thanks to her experience at Pathway. I attribute the work Ive done with Darrin to be critical to the improvements I have made in my illness, improvements I have made as a human being and in my personal and professional relationships. 9 years ago I could not hold down a dating relationship or job - now I work full time and have positive interpersonal interactions in all areas of my life. And bluntly put - without the connection I share with Darrin, i am not sure I would be alive today. Darrin thank you for everything youve done for me, and heres to the next 9 and more.

Elizabeth Myrna Ellis is the most unprofessional & disrespectful therapist I've ever known. She…read morerambled for long periods of time and interrupts many times with no apologies or guilt. I have been diagnosed by two different psychiatrists with ADHD and have been taken medication for it. My childhood doctor also agrees that I do have ADHD, and has thought so ever since I was of a young age. I have been seeing a personal therapist for ADHD for months also. But I'm our session she claimed that I do not have ADHD due to having good grades in middle school but my grades began to slip in high school. I brought up how I know many people with ADHD personally that have good grades and she responded by saying "Their parents probably paid to have their children diagnosed with ADHD.". This shows little to no knowledge on mental illness and little to no respect for this practice. She has shown little to no care about what I was there for. In the past she was taken to court by a client and found guilty. In 2009 the georgia state board of examiners of psychologists, sanctioned her license was granted BUT she had to take extra psychology classes and education courses to remain licensed to practice. This shows she is not only negligent, but also careless towards this extremely sensitive and professional career in psychology and therapy. Please do not ever go to her. One of her previous clients brought their son in for his depression and she kept insinuating that he did not have depression, months later he tried to commit suicide. Hopefully this has proved how incompetent and irresponsible this woman is in this practice. Thank you. Email me if you have any questions or want to see any court documents.
