For anyone with intense daily anxiety, time is very important. We need help from the hell in our minds asap. Dr. Nassar seems to be another example of a, "pay me first and then I'll tell you if I can potentially help you" psychologist. With that mind set, those if us on the edge and needing help will just have to go through several first visits with several psychologist and tell our story and explain our symptoms several times and pay several hundreds of dollars in the meantime. And if you're like me, there are times you have laid in bed in the deepest of anxiety hells, contemplating pulling the trigger just to escape the intense fear in your head. The clock may be running out on people like you and me. We don't have time for psychologist that won't simply say, "yes, I've seen this before and I believe I can help. I'll have my office manager contact you." Hang in there. There are good psychologist out there. And we'll find them. I hope.

A year or so later, without any notice they started charging a 5% "convenience fee" for using a credit card. There was zero communication about this. This is a medical practice with terrible communication and terrible business practices. When asked about the fee, I was told that credit card fees had gone up because of inflation - guess what, that is not my problem.

I had an appointment for a med review, for a medication she'd been prescribing me for 2yrs (again- being a patient of 2-3yrs), and I wasn't seen because I wasn't able to cover the office visit. Fair enough, but I needed a refill on my Rx (the one that I'd been on for at least 2yrs), and she would only authorize a refill for 1/2 month. I wasn't able to get my meds afterwards, because I couldn't pay for an office visit, and she wouldn't prescribe them. I'm not referring to a controlled substance. Just regular antidepressants. Fast forward almost a year later, when I have insurance; I contacted her office for an appointment, and was advised that I had to go online to complete documentation to determine whether she would take me as a patient. Her primary concern is her copay, not the well-being of her patients. I'm so disgusted by and frustrated with her. Today, I contacted her office, to see if I could return (because finding a mental health professional is difficult, once you've developed a relationship). She proceeded to argue with me about why I'd stopped seeing her. I began seeing another provider just over a month ago. Prior to then, I wasn't being treated at all. Gupta insisted that I'd been under another doctor's care, when that wasn't true, until I was informed that she wouldn't take me as a patient, just recently. I wasn't being treated at all, for almost a year. Being a mental health professional, I would think that she would be concerned with the psychological state of her patients. Instead, I was so frustrated, and brought to tears, after talking with her. She's a pill- pusher who doesn't give a damn about the mental health of her patients (current or past). I would discourage anyone from seeking services from her. If you are in need, you may not be able to rely on any assistance from her.

After some of my own research, I then called my previous doctor from Denver and asked him what he thought. He called back the next day and told me he got nothing by raves about her. I called Dr Pearson and the rest is history! I would not go to anyone else ever! She is the most caring, thorough, friendly person. Not only does she listen to ME, but she goes a step further to make sure she understands what I am trying to tell her. Dr Pearson never rushes, but takes her time to be completely sure that "I" understand what she is saying to me. Definitely a collaborative atmosphere! The office has the MOST pleasant, responsive and friendly staff. They are truly all the greatest!

It's too hard to get an appointment and frankly the person at the front wasn't very friendly. His office staff used to be much better than this.
