I randomly stumbled across this place when walking in Mayfair. Beautifully designed on a quiet corner it was very inviting. The name almost suggest being a beer place but here we are talking coffee. I am not up to do date on all the new places opening on the London coffee scene so was glad to just stumble across one.
The space is not huge but they have made good use of it so it can seat around 10-12 people and the light corner location with big windows gives it a feeling of space. They do however seem to do a lot of take out rather than people sitting there for coffee but both are possible. The roaster used seems to be Origin and it was good, especially the flat white had very nice balance.
They also do nice salads and light food and if I understood it correct they occasionally also have a little cart at Grosvenor Square as well. They are perhaps not the best of all of the coffee places in London but good coffee together with nice space and pleasant service makes it a good spot to visit. read more
