Our insurance didn't offer any relief (State Farm) which was unfortunate and kind of weird that all our neighbors had the same hail damage as we did. Anyway, Arrow Roofing did tell us that we still could get by with a few more years, which we really appreciated that they were so honest. So now a few years after that positive experience we chose Arrow. They did an amazing and professional job. The crew was friendly and efficient and customer service was outstanding. They pointed out where some fascia needed replacing and were great about taking care of that. We especially liked that they are locally owned.

We asked Manny to come out and look at our roof after our insurance company denied damage on the back of our roof (from hail). The worst roofing contractor I could have hired. Had to reinstall my concrete tile roof twice,…read moreafter the initial job. I had to drag him through the ROC, which turned out to be no use b/c they don't know tile roofing. Final job is worse than the first. I cannot let him finish the job. Lynch and staff had no idea about the great Tile Roofing Institute installation manual that gives pictorial steps to doing the job. It is very explicit and it is required to be used by Eagle Roofing tile manufacturer. Here is a short list of specific failings. 1. The roof leaks beneath my front porch. Can't go in or out when raining 2. Blue tiles on one side of roof, instead of contracted red/brown tiles. 3. Exposed nailing boards, not covered with Solite weather blocker as required or wrapped by underlayment. 4. Mortar instead of the required flashing in many places, including top flashing on penetrations. 5. Crushed gutter corners around the home, leaving leaks. One down-comer is blocked and water shoots out the sides. 6. No flat tiles beneath the hip starters, as required by manufacturer instructions. Water leaks onto underlayment. 7. Holes in the wood sheathing after moving Roof vents to other locations. 8. The valleys are very unsightly, tiles run into each other, violating AZ ROC standards. No clean spacing between tiles. 9. Black tar on a wall. 10. At least three broken main tiles. 11. Many chipped tiles, some larger than a quarter 12. flashing too short up the sides of the chimney above tile. 13. Broken tile beneath the rooftop fan plate and others beneath the front porch overhangs. 14. 3-rib valley metal is missing 15. Did not raise tube skylight when installing tile roof. 16. Mashed up pipe flashing around the home, doesn't lay flat on roof. 17. Underlayment isn't peel and stick as required 18. improper or absence of flashing and tiling around electrical conduit penetrations 19. Exposed underlayment 20. Broken hip tiles, patched instead of replaced 21. Broke 3 natural stone pavers by throwing broken roof tiles on them.

At then end of the day, no matter how you stack it, Heritage charged me $3500 for what amounted to two people spending less than two hours on my roof. They really only needed to spend an hour, but I insisted they do some extra promised work. Heritage held their ground, demand that I adhere to the contract and pay what accounts to a labor rate of $750 per hour or so. Absurd. A good contractor would have concluded -- "Hey, we didn't need to do as much as we though, we can save you some money". I'm quite sure if they needed to do extra work, they would have charged me more. As far as I can tell, they are just behaving as over priced brokers -- better to reach out to the actual people doing the work. I wouldn't use them again, personally.

Over a year later we found a piece of a ridgeline gasket -- for lack of the proper term -- lying on the ground. This is amazing customer service. We highly recommend Central Basin Roofing.

After getting multiple estimates for ongoing roof issues at our Prescott Valley rentals, we decided…read moreto hire this company because they were the only company that really took the time to explain what was actually causing the problems instead of immediately pushing a full replacement. We had been dealing with recurring leaks around a skylight area and water stains near one corner of the ceiling after monsoon storms, even though another contractor had supposedly repaired it less than two years earlier. Charlie came out personally for the inspection and immediately noticed several issues that previous companies completely overlooked, including cracked mortar around flashing areas, deteriorated underlayment beneath some of the tile sections, and improper sealing near the skylight transition. He explained how Arizona's heat and seasonal storms gradually break down these vulnerable areas over time, especially on older tile roofs. Their detailed and honest the inspection was quite impressive. He took photos throughout the process and walked us through every issue step by step without trying to pressure us into unnecessary work. We ended up hiring them for partial tile removal, underlayment replacement, flashing repairs, and waterproof sealing around the skylight and vent penetrations. The crew showed up exactly when scheduled each morning and worked very efficiently. They were also extremely respectful of the property. Before starting, they carefully protected landscaping around the house and made sure debris from removed tile and old material was cleaned up daily instead of piling up around the yard. Furthermore, the quality of the workmanship during the repair itself. They didn't rush through the project or cut corners. The replacement underlayment installation looked very precise, and they took extra time matching replacement tiles so the repaired areas blended naturally with the original roof. You honestly can't tell where the work was done unless someone points it out. A few weeks later, after another heavy storm passed through the area, we had absolutely zero leaks or moisture issues for the first time in years. We also noticed the upstairs portion of the house staying cooler during hotter afternoons, which Charlie explained was partially due to replacing damaged materials and improving ventilation in the repaired sections. Plus, every question we had was answered clearly, the pricing stayed exactly within the estimate we were given, and there were no surprise charges at the end of the project. It's obvious they've spent years working on tile roofing systems and understand the unique wear and weather conditions Arizona roofs deal with. I would highly recommend them to anyone needing roof repairs, waterproofing work, flashing replacement, or underlayment services in the Prescott Valley area.
