Well my wife did as she's a cog in the Aurora machine at setup an appointment for me. Good idea to stop by if you have issues. Being fit enough my particular rehab is also FREE :) Service was short questionnaire, and a thorough enough physical evaluation of my cruddy joints. Bunch of test moves and a hands-on evaluation which was a truly skilled version of the what the wife practiced on me for one of her graduate classes. Gave me free stretch bands and instructions to help overcome a wicked long lasting strain, and ideas to help my overall knee cruddiness. (And if I wanted to make it a life goal, the opportunity to devote hours a day to really fixing them, but I would rather go out to eat). They have at least one room of equipment there ready to work with. Yay! I really am a fan.

I could not stand up without arching my back, couldn't bend my knees without pain and it was awful. I walked in to his office, and it's a no frills office - but there are no frills with adjusting people, so you get over that quickly. Dr. Scott did a few tests and told me it was my hip flexors... I was skeptical immediately. My hips are making my back hurt? Come on... but then... He did a few treatment adjustments and I stood up, and I'm not kidding, I could stand straight again!!! I was a believer from that moment on. I only needed to see him the one time because he gave me several great at-home stretches and treatments to continue, and I've used them before my back gets a chance to hurt again after biking long distance. I stopped by yesterday for a double-header: a Pilates session with Master Instructor Trey Fry (yes,…read moremaster--like a Pilates Jedi), followed by a session with Physical Therapist Garrett, who somehow managed to find muscles I didn't even know I owned. Today, I came back for more with a killer session led by Sam, who is as delightful as they are deceptively good at making your core question its life choices. Let's talk ambience: this place is stunning. It's housed in a historical building that looks like it's been standing strong since Mozart was in diapers--and honestly, the vibes are just as majestic. The space is bright, airy, and laid out so beautifully it could be featured in an architectural magazine titled "Places That Make You Want to Exercise." Now, I've worked in the fitness industry for years, so I walked in thinking I had a pretty good handle on things. I was wrong. So wrong. These sessions will humble you in the best way possible. You'll work muscles you forgot existed, uncover weak spots you didn't know were weak, and come out feeling like a better, bendier, more aware version of yourself. That's excellent so that you can improve yourself. =] The staff? Brilliant. Warm, hilarious, and so good at what they do. They somehow manage to make intense workouts feel like a party--if parties involved shaking legs and the sudden realization that your glutes have been freeloading for years. Whether you're a teenager, a marathon runner, a retired teacher, or an Olympic hopeful, this place meets you where you're at and takes you further. But fair warning: they will make you work. And you'll thank them for it. Eventually. Highly recommend. Five stars, 12/10, would glute-burn again. [Review 729] - 2nd Review for 2025!
