Ambience Definitely…read morea hidden gem that has held its place on Jefferson Avenue in Detroit for over 12 years. The building's striking fire-engine-red brick exterior offers a fitting hint of the bold experience waiting beyond the doors. It's a very small, intimate restaurant, with a cozy feel that makes the space feel personal rather than sprawling. I was pleased to see that it welcomes families, including children--hold the wasabi. Service You may have to wait a minute for a table, but if you're in a rush, there's always the option of pulling up a barstool and dining at the bar. Where you'll also find a limited choices of liquor. The servers were friendly and extremely attentive. I appreciated that they weren't overbearing; they were easy to reach, accommodating, and present when needed. Food The food selections--hold onto your hat and be prepared to hit the fire alarm! The flavors promise to bring some serious heat and excitement to the table. This place offers ramen with a twist, giving a familiar food choice a more distinctive and unexpected presentation.

It was the best decision we've made that day, I got the burned miso ramen, my husband the Major Tom Khatsu and we both lived them! Very flavorful broth, and chewy noodles. The staff was very friendly and helpful considering it was our first time. The only wish I had is that their bao was without dairy, so it could be vegan too. We'll be back for more!

Wow Wow Wow! Finally ordered take-away dinner for two for $19.99 and I am so impressed. It was more…read morethan enough food to feed us for multiple dinners, so far we have had two dinners from this fabulous combo for two. Which included 2 wong tong soups, 2 spring rolls, beef and veggies, rice, chicken balls and of course fortune cookies. I didn't like the rice from the lunch combo, but I loved it in the dinner combo (which I believe was chicken rice) Let me tell you why this place is special...I can tell everything is made by them, including the wong tongs in the soup and spring rolls. The veggies in the beef dish seems fresh not frozen and the sauce seems home made not overpowering artificial sauce, even the chicken balls had soft, freshly fried dough around real chicken, absolutely you need to order some take out dinner from this place!

So very disappointed. I actually feel ripped off. We paid $50 with the tip for 2 combo plates for…read more1. The spring rolls were fine. The egg rolls tasted and smelled old and greasy. Soo Gai was just a big soggy piece of dough with no real flavor. Same with the sweet and sour shrimp if you could find them in the dough ball. Beef stir fry was flavourless and what they call won ton soup is laughable. Someone needs to tell them what a won ton is. All I got was soggy old noodles in a flavourless broth. Really pi#$es me off when I throw good money away for food that's obviously made by someone who takes no pride in what they are serving.
