I used this company for a (3rd job) bathroom shower tear out and to install new tile, the seams are…read moreoff on the tiles from one wall to the next. He originally did good work (1st job) he was hired for, which was to fix the hole around my faucet in the tile that was made so our plumber could access the plumbing in the bathroom wall. He was supposed to come back and fix the bottom of our bathroom sliding barn door, which has still not been fixed even though he was paid for it. He also chipped (a quarter size) our tub during tear out and did NOT tell us about it, we discovered it, our tub was in terrific condition before he and his son chipped it. He admitted to chipping it after a phone call to him the next day. The tub only needed a paint job (pink to white) by another company. I had wanted to keep it since it was cast iron. We also cannot accuse them of theft but we did have materials "mysteriously disappear" when they left. A very large bag of (38) brushed bronze handles which I had left on my bathroom countertop to use for my bathroom and kitchen. There were also (4) square brushed bronze knobs that had " mysteriously disappeared" as well off of my bathroom countertop and had a box of special order glass tile "go missing" we did not notice these "mysteriously disappeared materials" at first after they left due to the rest of the house being renovated by us (not any business company) before they came to tear out the tile and install new tile. We had renovation materials scattered in three rooms. The rooms were searched throughly because I had thought my husband moved them from the bathroom counter. No handles, knobs, tile, new tile spacers (we paid for them, they were on his billed invoice) or metal strips that hide the edges of tile to give it a finished look were found anywhere in my home or work shed. We have receipts that these items were purchased by us. We were also told by Tim that a third person was not in our home but we saw this third man in person and have video of him walking into our home via our Ring doorbell. I cannot accuse him of lying about the man in our home who spoke to his son in our home because Tim may have not known about him even though he was wearing a "Handyman Unlimited" t shirt. We will never hire this company again and will not recommend him to our friends, family, or anyone who needs renovation services.

He quickly responded and came out to talk with us about the repairs that it would need. Within a few days he emailed a quote outlining the demolition, labor and materials costs for composite vs wood decking. The quote was detailed, yet easy to understand and thorough. Due to a family emergency on our part we were not able to schedule the repair immediately, but when we were ready he got us on his schedule within a couple of weeks. Stephen, his partner, led the crew, as they basically rebuilt the deck in a couple of days. Throughout the process Daniel and Stephen both kept me informed and answered my questions. The entire crew was very polite and respectful of our property. The worksite was left perfectly clean and the deck looks great!!! I HIGHLY recommend Southern Pine Properties!!

He originally said it would take approximately a week. his employee showed up on time the first day, but brought no tools and said he didn't know what he was going to do at my house. I accepted this one case of being ill prepared and let the guy use some of my personal tools. He said next time he would have everything he needed. He showed up again the next day worked about 4 hours caulking wainscoting, then left. No one returned to my house to work for 4 days. No calls, no email, just no one showed until i texted to see when they would be back. (this was after the supervisor asked for $300 for work completed) I went on a business trip for approximately a week. When I returned there was trash all over the room (boiled peanuts, soda bottles, etc) paint all over the windows, new hardwood floors, my personal tools, and even all over my kitchen. I sent George an email with pictures and had him come look at the state of my house. He told me he was going to fire the guys responsible and fix it immediately. Over the next 3-4 days they cleaned up a few hours a day. After that no one worked on it again for a few days. Then the same guys they "fired" came back to work. Long story short they never finished. After they painted over a cracked drywall seam and I asked them to fix it, the supervisor looked right at me and asked "How?". I let them fix that, pointed out a few other mistakes I wanted fixed (they didn't) and asked them to leave. We then argued over the bill for a couple weeks until they came down to a reasonable price for what they did. I now have to invest more time and money into a project that should have been complete weeks ago. Never hire these guys.

Besides the "pop holes" surrounding where drywall was put up, constant settling over a non-secure foundation for frames and patios it was no surprise that others rated this company 1 star as well. Sadly we only noticed after we bought how poorly this company makes and contracts out work for their homes or we would have stayed FAR away. Lesson learned for the future.
