Is everything perfect? Not quite, but I don't feel neglected by this management company either.

Before you sign the lease, they come across as friendly, responsive, and accommodating. Unfortunately, my experience changed drastically after I moved in. Once I began having issues with my unit and the building, responses became extremely slow and I felt that my concerns -- including concerns about my personal safety and living conditions -- were not taken seriously. I had multiple repair issues shortly after moving in, many of which I believe should have been addressed before the unit was rented to me. The breaking point was discovering MICE IN MY APARTMENT!! The situation became serious enough that I temporarily moved elsewhere and ended up paying for two places to live. After sending multiple emails to Carolyn without getting the resolution I needed, I went to their office to discuss the situation in person. According to my recollection, her response was essentially that mice "come and go," that she gets mice in her own home as well, and that because the weather was getting colder, it was normal. I was also told that this was not grounds for terminating my lease and was told not to return to their office. I spent approximately 3 months dealing with the issue. Eventually, I contacted Alberta Health Services and had a health inspector attend the property. It was only after that intervention that I began seeing more meaningful pest-control activity. By then, however, the stress and disruption had become too much, and I decided I could no longer continue living under this management. Beyond my own unit, I also experienced concerns with the overall building: inadequate security, unauthorized individuals entering the property, people smoking inside, and broken glass. What shocked me most was that all of this occurred within roughly 3 months of moving in. My interactions with Carolyn were among the most unpleasant experiences I have ever had with a property manager. I found the communication dismissive, rude, and lacking in compassion at a time when I was dealing with a serious problem in my home. I trusted this company when I chose to rent from them, and I deeply regret that decision. Based on my personal experience, I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND RENTING FROM THEM. Please do your research carefully before signing a lease.

This place has multiple health code violations, there are constant break-ins and violence in the…read morehallways, people smoking drugs and ruining the laundry machines, destroying them and vandalizing them, urinating and defecating in the main hallways, people yelling and fighting in the hallways, this is one of the most poorly maintained buildings I've ever been in, there are bugs, the staff are rude and non-responsive for weeks at a time. They also lie about many things and try to tell you you didn't pay something and then when you prove that you did, they play dumb. Also you should know, this place is for sale to developers, which is probably why they don't care about maintenance. There was mold underneath my sink. There was sewage from the unit above me that spilled into my bathroom and they left it like that for 3 days and didn't offer any compensation for a hotel or anything like that. Also the water is undrinkable, that's according to AHS not just my opinion. Also AHS found over a dozen Health health and fire safety code violations just in one hallway, as well as four in my unit. I have over 73 photos and three videos of proof that this is one of the most dangerous and under maintained 55 plus year old buildings I have ever rented.

Now residents are either incurring high Epcor bills from using portable air conditioners we purchased and/or having to run fans all the time in order to try to stay cool. Residents have tried reaching out to Dawn from Core in regards to this matter and she never bothered to respond. Core upped our condo fees which I completely understand needs to be done HOWEVER we residents should see results not hollow promises of things being fixed.

Over about nine months, Premiere Property Management, owned and operated by Brent Graham, consistently failed to live up to the terms of our contract with them. When presented with evidence of that, they failed utterly to address the problems in any serious way. Confidentially agreements rule out our being able to share specific examples of Premiere's over-stepping of authority, bad advice, rudeness, underhandedness, lack of responsibility, failure to meet everyday norms of property management and maintenance services, and extremely poor performance overall. We are relieved to be rid of them. Volunteer condo directors have enough thankless work to do without having to deal with the mess that we faced with Premiere, so we feel compelled to review here in support of our fellow condo volunteers.

All I did was go down to the office and ask for one and told them which building I lived in...No asking for I.D, no proof of address, nor did they take the fob number down to know who has which fob. No warning from the management company that they would be doing work in the unit, and not even a knock! Then they left a huge mess in my bathroom but said they'd be back the next day to clean up...
