I like the ambience of the place, consistently pleasant staff (uncommon in the Czech Republic) and honest hearty food (but not the stodgy Czech classics). I love the location. True, you have to drive or to walk to get there (about 3 min from tram stop "Nad Trojou" or 10 min from metro "Kobylisy") but you will be rewarded by the quiet relaxing atmosphere of this establishment. The interior is nicely decorated and the outdoor seating is lovely, even fitted with a children sandbox to cater for families. I recently organized a walk for a group of 30 people, mainly non-Czech speakers, and asked "Na krasne vyhlidce" to prepare a dinner for us. They were very helpful and accommodating from the start.They offered to prepare a special menu just for us to ensure nobody waits for food too long. In the end, 40 of us turned up. Despite of this surprise the staff of three waitresses managed to serve us very professionally, fast and with smile. And the food was a delight. I really enjoyed my ratatouille! Well done! For evening dining, it is the best to use the upper deck when the weather is warm and enjoy the views and the flow of the river. I can highly recommend their spa and especial the massage as their therapeutists are some of the best I know in Prague. The guarra ruffa therapy is also worth a try even though I have to say I am not its biggest fan. Since you can, however, be enjoying the very relaxing atmosphere while the fish do their job, it end up being a very pleasant and relaxing experience. The restaurant is featured in the Michelin guide and features a chef's counter. The restaurant is a good 10 minute walk from the metro. There is a bus/tram stop in front of the restaurant. The restaurant is located in a quiet neighborhood and was slightly hard to find. Started off with the homemade bread with butter. I found the bread dry and lackluster. It was interesting that the waiter claimed that the bread made in house daily when I saw one of the cooks cut up prepackaged store-bought bread... Opted for the tripes as a starter per the recommendation from the waiter. I was slightly surprised that such a dish could appear in a fancy restaurant. The waiter reassured me that this was a popular Czech dish. The tripes were fine although I found the dish a touch lacking with a ton of thousand island squirted on the dish? I did find the dish a touch salty ... as with most dishes in Prague. ..maybe it's cultural Moved on to the smoked pork tongue as the main. It was my first time having pork tongue and this tasted more like a sausage. I'm not sure what was with the saltier cream sauce that complemented this dish as it looked fine but the flavors were again on the saltier side... The dumpling I found to be quite dry and boring. Ended off the meal with the panna cotta which may have been the highlight of the meal. The panna cotta was light and served with a couple versions of pear. The ice cream with rum was tasty too.
