Second, their service is poor at best. I've been going to this gym for 4 months or more. And when I went to that gym, I had my bag with me all of those times. I work out 4 times per week. No one ever said to me that I had to lock up my bag until recently. So in 4 months, no word. Then the employee told me that I had to put my bag away in the middle of my work out and I couldn't do it after I finished on that one machine. They have signs everywhere about cell phone usage, Wi-Fi, wipe your machines down, etc but no sign about bags. I've been to better Planet Fitness than this. And least the ones who believe their customers are importan enough to treat them respectfully. Go to Ironbound Gym or Colonial Iron Gym. Colonial Iron is my favorite. I only changed due to the distance.

The Williamsburg studio is top notch! The owners are present, engaged, and thoughtful! The front desk is friendly and competent! The trainers are smart, appropriately enthusiastic, encouraging, and friendly!! Camaraderie is also appropriately encouraged! The clients are welcoming , also engaged, enthusiastic, friendly toward one another and encouraging to each other. Everyone shares the energy! This studio should be the model for every studio. If I didn't already have 6 months left on my membership at the rec center I'd seriously consider joining this one. Unlike at the rec center, the pool here has a deep end, which allows me to aqua jog. They also have two dedicated "therapeutic lanes" that are heated to 90 degrees. Double win for me there. While the cardio/weight room is admittedly a bit small, I didn't have a difficult time finding an open machine and the 30 min time limit isn't enforced. They have spin bikes, not just stationary bikes which is a win for me! They also have two nice stretching rooms with stability balls, stretching bands and foam rollers. I actually found the locker room to be quite nice and the showers private and spacious. The price is a little higher than the rec center, but unlike the former it includes all classes. I must admit that the bike class I took was a little bland and I was the youngest person by a few decades, but maybe the afternoon classes attract more young people lol. Overall would be at the top of my list for gyms in Williamsburg, but Onelife in NN reigns surpreme for me on the Peninsula.

The set-up was very nice, equipment looked new, clean, and well taken care of. There was a trainer there training when I came in. He was very nice and helpful when I entered the facility. I also saw him retrieve a bucket and cloth and wipe down a lot of the equipment in-between training sessions. Definitely what you want to see in the age of COVID. All around, very nice gym and it was a great place to get a workout in when away from home.

This facility has brand new equipment and a great location (close to Busch Gardens) to boot. Another great factor is the safety. They are right around the corner from a police precinct. This helps keep some of the creeps away. The staff - exceptionally friendly and very knowledgeable. The approach they give to customers is just top notch. If you're on the fence with crossfit or are looking into achieving that next level of fitness, come here - you won't be disappointed.

There is an indoor track, which is nice if you don't like walking in the heat. There are several exercise and aqua classes offered throughout the week. My favorite is Saturday Zumba and Aqua Zumba on Wednesday. The center is 30 years-old. There is modern equipment, but some of the equipment is older. This may be a factor if you are comparing gyms in the area. But there are lockers, showers, and plenty of towels.

Good mix of machines, squat racks, bench/ free weights, and even a power lifting platform. Weight Selection: Dumbbells go up to 200lbs (Ivanko) They have plenty of plates (potentially leading you to more dates) and even the really nice Ivanko plates with holes around so it's easier to grab the 45lb ones. Lots of booty machines, bless Handful of squat racks and benches Like if you're going for body building, power lifting, not the best for Olympic lifting but the best in the area, or vibes they have whatever you're looking for. Machines are a mix of plate machines and the ones with weights on it if that makes sense. Cardio Equipment Bro just run outside its weight lifting gym... But seriously they have a small selection of cardio. This is not planet fitness (and hallelujah for that) Three stair steppers Five treadmills A couple bikes Two Rowing machines for those looking to throw themselves in the Hyrox world The Vibes Stellar. Hard working. Kindness and respect. No pajama bottoms but ya wear any other gym set. Some people film but it's not a complete influencer gym. And the people filming are pushing quite a bit of weight so like I would too tbh but endurance running is my main love and these chicken arms gotta make more gains. Bonus They have a punch pass that never expires. So if you're like me and have a wild job where you travel on a days notice, you can just buy a punch pass :) amazing. Locker Rooms Small but clean Have not used the sauna or other rooms.
