I take a picture and drive up to the store showing them it's 30ft in the air wrapped around the trees.. the manager says bring us what you can.. so 2 days later I come back and find the manager and he's helpful.. tells me to go up in the line where the cashier named "destiny" looks at my account.. pulls the manager aside and then proceeds to tell me that I never bought the one I'm trying to get... you bought a 10x17 she says .. we can't return this making me look like some level of criminal or something... and all the while She's laughing with everyone else but telling me NO!!! So then I produce the recipe! And she still persists that I'm somehow trying to pull some shady shit !! This woman has zero business dealing with customers !! I ended up walking out without the Product simply due to this woman getting that far under my skin!!!! No product, no money back!! And bought the damn extended warranty just to be treated like some thief buy this woman !!!! They lost a once a week client by hiring this woman .. and I for one will be spending the rest of today letting as many as I can know about this b!!ch!!!

This is a cooks dream store. I could spend hours in here looking at everything…read more So...many....items...... Ladies....be careful with big purses on your shoulder. They have everything you could possibly imagine. Lots of Le Creusets, kitchen gadgets, dishes, bowls, kitchen towels...the list goes on and on and on. The ladies are so helpful and kind. They even have cooking classes all the way in the back of the store. It is a little pricy though. Not a place I would shop often but I would definitely window shop or go for a hard to find item. If you like to cook or bake or know someone that does, definitely check out this store. I know I will be back.

The thing I like about this place, in the back of the store, they actually have cooking classes. So Mini me and I signed up for their knife using class. Being a home cook, learning proper knife skills is very important, also proper cleaning of kitchen knives is useful. And this is what the class is about. I really wanted to sign up for other classes, but let's face it, the other 3 classes just didn't hit it with me. Sushi class, beef Wellington, finally another fish cooking class. Nah, it's just not my cup of tea. With this class, kiddo will have to be away from me. The reason being is that she is a lefty while I use my right hand. With her being left handed, watching her with sharp objects just gives me an anxiety attach! Another impressive thing about The Kitchen Barn, everything is made in America. Now that is something that I can support. Also, they showed me wooden products that were made from Floyd, Virginia. Yes, Floyd is in the mountains of Virginia. But as a consumer, I really do enjoy supporting local or American made as much as possible. Although you pay more here. It's worth supporting our local economy as much as possible. So Woo Hoo!

I specifically was looking at espresso makers and boy do they have a lot of models, most higher end that I was looking to purchase. The Breville is one of the stores main brands. However, they do offer Delonghi, Phillips and others. While browsing for 15 minutes or so there were staff around stocking and doing administrative task. I was never approached for help and asked. Once I engaged the staff I revived adequate assistance. Ultimately we looked at models to ship and dates. They were offering free shipping anywhere in the country. Unfortunately the ship date was almost a month out. I ejected to purchase elsewhere. I did decide to purchase their famous dish towels. They are the very best, not cheap, but quality. While checking out I snacked on peppermint bark samples, so yum! I'm sure I will be back, but I regret the downgrade with slow service. 3.5 rounding down.

From the very beginning, the staff was professional, knowledgeable, and exceptionally easy to work with. The trimmer needed a new motor and switch, which they replaced under warranty. The mower had a much more difficult issue... would no longer start, and even after extensive troubleshooting, the exact cause couldn't be determined. Beach Lawn & Garden worked closely with Ryobi throughout the warranty process, kept me informed every step of the way through both phone calls and emails, and made what could have been a frustrating experience remarkably easy. I also appreciated that they were upfront about the $40 diagnostic deposit for each tool, and once the warranty work was approved, they promptly refunded the full $80 without any hassle. In the end, Ryobi chose to replace my mower with a brand-new current-generation model, complete with two new 6Ah batteries and a new rapid charger. While that was Ryobi's decision, Beach Lawn & Garden handled the entire process professionally and made everything go smoothly from start to finish. To top it all off, they were kind enough to hold both of my tools for a few extra weeks while I was unable to make the trip to Virginia Beach to pick them up. That level of customer service is increasingly hard to find. Beach Lawn & Garden has earned my trust, and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone needing service, repairs, or warranty work on outdoor power equipment. They are knowledgeable, communicative, honest, and genuinely care about taking care of their customers.
