At one point when Jaime said the car was finished, we drove out there and found missing parts, dead battery, flat tire and a broken side mirror from them backing the car out of the garage. It took another three weeks to repair. We were promised, due to the extended stay at their shop, a rental reimbursement would be given to us. I will never see the $1800 they owe me. I would have never kept the rental that long if it wasn't for their "promise." Jaime will find every excuse on why your car is not completed. He will not answer his phone nor be at the shop. We went to the shop daily for three weeks to at least see the car since they would not answer their phones. They had the door locked with a ring doorbell. We could hear them working but would never answer the door or their phones. They did not fix things the insurance company said to do but i wanted my car off their lot and back in my possession.

Once all the pieces were sourced and the engineering hurtles overcome, the team at PER completed the engine in only a couple of days. Afterwards, the team helped me with the electrical set-up so that we could run the engine on PER's in house Dyno-stand, utilizing all the stock electrical harnesses, connectors and ECU/PCM. The result was a finely tuned engine that beat all of our initial design goals. Randy & the team at PER provide such friendly great service, professionalism and knowledge. Doc Motor Works Auto Repair truly saved us on Black Wednesday -- the Wednesday before Thanksgiving…read more-- and I can't say enough good things about them. We were on our way out of town when one of our tires suddenly lost pressure. It was around 5:30pm, most places were closing at 6, and panic quickly set in. We first pulled into a nearby Tuffy to try filling the tire, but as the air went in, we could hear it coming right back out. Frantically looking around, I noticed Doc Motor Works next door and ran in about 10 minutes before closing. They must have seen the desperation on my face because Scott, the owner, was incredibly kind right away. The two gentlemen working with him were just as wonderful. They immediately took our car back and discovered not one, but two nails in the tire -- thankfully both were in spots that could be patched. While they worked quickly and efficiently, we waited inside where they have the coolest kids' area. My son literally said, "This is the best day ever!" The entire experience felt like one of those moments that restores your faith in people. Scott and his team were fast, professional, compassionate, and genuinely caring. Walking into this place completely changed what could have been a very stressful situation. If you're looking for honest, kind, and reliable auto repair -- this is the place. Driving on the highway and got a low oil light which is odd because my car is newer and doesn't burn oil. Pulled over on the highway to see a giant puddle of oil and oil all under my car. Brought it to the shop next store and they looked at it and said they didn't want to touch it and Doc should fix it. Had to add oil to make it to the shop so the car didn't blow up because I had a feeling they wouldn't cover for a tow as they ended up not even covering the $30 in oil I added to make it to the shop. Now they did repair the issue but it seemed like I was hassling them with an attitude on their end. Wouldn't even reimburse me for the oil that I had a receipt for the day before and told me to bring it in next time I get an oil change and I'll get a discount. Business practices are scummy. Owner didn't seem very apologetic and looked cold as a stone in winter. Why would I bring my car back to somewhere that almost blew it up? Definitely don't recommend.
