Had 2 cracks in the exhaust pipe. 1 on the flange , the other on the short tube which they cleaned up both and welded. I appreciate how friendly and fair all their guys were. In and Out in about 1 hr +. As I had several customers ahead of me when I arrived. Price was quite reasonable. I also had them quote a price on exhaust & Catalytic converter replacement which I will need down the road. Just a ballpark for future. I examined their work. They do good work. Im going back to them in future. I also sat in waiting room and talked to a guy who's had them do brakes several times for his car. He praised their price and work for that. Good to know. I've been coming to Jack's pretty much since they opened and I've always had excellent service. As…read morea woman, it means a lot to me that the service guys don't try to upsell me with unnecessary things and I'm treated with respect. The ONLY reason I gave them 4 stars is because this past February I had them install a new battery. The problem is that a little while after I left there (I had been driving around a lot doing errands) my car died. I got it to start again, but I drove a little ways & it died again - right in the middle of Essington Rd, which is a very busy road! I was so scared that I was gonna get hit by someone from behind. I had to call my boyfriend to come give me a jump but each time it would only drive a few hundred yards (did this 3 x's to get it from Essington & Black to Jack's! Angry ) Ok, so here's the reason I'm still giving them 4 stars...when I finally got back there, I was pretty upset, but the manager took care of me & my car. The battery wasn't bolted down properly & he showed me why, then he put a brand new battery in & showed me that it was done correctly. Apparently the "kid" who did it was a newbie & didn't know how to do it, but my problem with that is that he didn't ask his manager! Anyway, it was all handled very quickly with the manager apologizing profusely and he gave me a free oil change and 2 extra free car washes. Listen, people make mistakes, we're all human, but the difference was that he accepted responsibility, apologized, and then gave me great customer service...and THAT'S why they get 4 stars & a lifetime customer! Thank you Jack's for remembering how to treat customers...even pissed off ones!

They also will send you electronically a quote for every piece of work they might do, and you can individually accept/decline the jobs. I do service dispatch for a living, and I would never speak to someone in need the way their dispatcher spoke to me. The woman on the phone was shockingly rude -- talking over me, blaming my insurance for "lying," giving attitude when I simply asked for an update, and acting annoyed that I even needed help. I genuinely wish I had recorded the call. If this is who answers your phones, fire your dispatcher. The timeline speaks for itself: * Called at 7:30 AM * Got a confirmation text at 8:02 AM saying arrival would be within 45-75 minutes * Tow truck didn't show up until 10:15 AM When I pointed out the delay (calmly), she cut me off mid-sentence blaming the insurance and dryly asked if I wanted to cancel -- after I had already waited over an hour in the winter. Absolutely unprofessional and honestly disgusting. And the kicker? Yelp is full of the exact same complaints. So clearly this isn't an off day -- it's who they are. McCoy Services and the dispatcher wasted my time, my money, and treated me like I was an inconvenience instead of a stranded customer. I'd avoid this place if this is quality humans they keep employed. Never again. I'll be submitting for reimbursement and warning everyone I can to avoid this company at all costs.
