I decided that if I wanted to set it up, I would do it right the first time. I also wanted to ensure that the end result would look aesthetically pleasing and I don't have cables visible everywhere (not to mention the trip hazards those would end up being). While I wish I could set up the room for such an experience myself, I knew I did not have the knowledge and skillset to do this on my own. I started googling companies that offered setting up home theaters and Residential Audio Video was the first to pop up...initially I questioned if it was even worth asking a professional as I was absolutely certain I would not be able to afford a professional installation, however knowing that I would not be able to accomplish the result I wanted on my own, I figured it was worth at least shopping around to know what people charge for this service. After exchanging a few texts with Angel, we scheduled a day where he could stop by so we could just discuss my goals and what kind of pricing I could expect. I was interested in setting up a 5.1.2 system and a projector. Normally I am the kind of guy to shop around a lot for pricing but my first interaction with Angel assured me that it was not worth doing that. He was extremely professional, pleasant, and not pushy at all. He outlined exactly what I would need to purchase to accomplish what I was trying to do and his pricing felt extremely fair. The first interaction alone made me feel confident that Angel would do the job right, and I definitely didn't want to bother a bunch of other vendors for pricing - I preferred going with quality service over saving a few bucks (and not even certain I would save anything going with another business. Once we had gone over what I needed, I started looking around for the equipment. I kept in touch with Angel over the past 2 months and he provided feedback...once I was closer to having everything, Angel stopped by again so we could discuss what I may still need (mostly just a couple of hardware pieces to run the cables properly). After ordering everything, I scheduled a date with Angel to come over and set everything up. I cannot even begin to describe how ecstatic I felt when things were getting set up...almost afraid I set the bar too high - but no, definitely not the case. Angel did a phenomenal job and it really does feel like the room is now a mini movie theater. I finally have a reason to never leave the house again!!!!!!!!!!!!!! In short, I would 100% recommend Angel in a heartbeat - if I ever decide to do any upgrades to my setup in the future, I know I will definitely not be going anywhere else.
