The true MVPs of this entire process! We couldn't be more grateful to Max and Tonya for helping us close on our home. Our situation was far from ideal, but they made it feel so smooth, manageable, and closed on time! After our offer was accepted, our original lender fell through, leaving us anxious and worried about falling out of contract. We got Max's contact from another friend and after talking to Max, he reassured us that he could deliver, and stayed true to his word as promised From start to finish, they were incredibly responsive, organized, reliable, and completely on top of everything - all the essential qualities you need in a home-buying team. Trust me, having a reliable team makes all the difference. You can tell that they're very experienced and truly badasses at what they do. We'll absolutely turn to Max for any future refinance or home purchases. Highly recommend this powerhouse duo! read more

Very professional lender who thinks for his client. Everything was very smooth with Max. You can feel that he puts his client's interest before his personal interests and really tries to find the best option for his client. read more

This is my second time partnering with Max and Tonya to purchase a home, and once again, they exceeded expectations. The mortgage process is inherently stressful, but having a team like them on your side makes a significant difference. read more

I am so glad our real estate agent referred us to Max because now I can't imagine working with anyone else now. The entire process took us a month after our offer was accepted and throughout the entire process, Max has been extremely professional. He answered our questions patiently even though we had a ton of questions, he's easily reachable through text/call/email, he kept us up to date on the timeline of events so we knew what to prepare and what to expect, and overall he's super knowledgeable about this field so even though we were lost, we knew we could turn to him to guide us. His colleague Tonya was also super helpful as well! We sent over a bunch of paperwork and she was able to sort through it all so huge kudos to her as well! I highly recommend going to Max especially for first time homebuyers as the process is quite daunting but he is a fantastic guide and we will definitely continue to do business with him! read more

Max and Tonya were a great team to work with during our home buying process. There are so many moving parts with buying+funding a new home. Having an organized lending team takes so much stress off our backs. Max is very organized and easy to work with. Right from our first conversation, Max gave us many options that we could consider to fund our loan and the downpayment. His team requested for all the information needed proactively and were very prompt to respond to any questions we had. In the times of ever-increasing rates, Max was able to offer a competitive rate. Max and Tonya are clear communicators and it has been great working with them. I would highly recommend working with Max to fund your next loan! read more

I couldn't have asked for a better loan team pair than Max and Tonya! Max is great to work with - has always been able to provide me with competitive rates...this is my third loan with Max (1 refi and 2 new home loans) over the last ~10 years! He's also straight up...I contemplated another transaction with him and he straight out told me that he wouldn't be able to provide me with the best solution. I love that - doesn't waste my time nor his time...and he doesn't string me along. Suffice to say I'm more than happy to do business with such a seasoned professional in the mortgage industry. :) Tonya is fantastic as well. She's very clear in the requests of what to send, including timelines of when stuff needs to be turned around to her, etc. She did a great job keeping me updated on the status as well. Organized is an understatement! BOTH are super responsive. I can't think of a single time I felt "out of touch" with them during the loan process. Can't tell you how much I appreciated that! Definitely recommend them both! read more

Max and his team were so great to work with! He always responded quickly and is very easy to talk to. Being a first time home buyer, he went above and beyond to answer and explain any and all questions I had. Max is very friendly, well spoken and knowledgeable. I've learned a lot from Max and I can't thank him and his team enough. I'm Looking forward to working with him in the future! read more

We recently worked with Max and his team for our new home purchase. It was very apparent that Max's knowledge and expertise are unbeatable. His team communicated with us every step along the way. We fell in love with our home and needed a pre-approval mortgage in less than 20 hours. No doubt, Max delivered our request with that short deadline. Once our offer was accepted, he provided us constant updates and was very transparent in the whole process. Despite some minor hiccups, Max assured us that the mortgage will get done. We would gladly work with Max in the future and highly recommend him to anyone in the market for an awesome lender! You will experience a stress free transaction which was our number one priority. Thank you so much Max and team for your hardwork and dedication to being part of our journey to becoming first time home owners! read more

It was such a great experience working with Max and Tonya. They are very responsive and were always available to answer any questions we had. It was a super quick closing process and they took only 3 weeks to finish the entire process without any hassle. Max has been super helpful in getting us the best rate compared to other lenders that saved us so much money. This is the second time I am working with Max and he will be the go-to person in the future as well. I highly recommend Max and PNC bank for anyone who is looking to buy a home read more

Max was a pleasant to work with during this stressful process. We were able to finish all our paperwork earlier than expected thanks to him being on top of everything. Starting from our preapproval, we felt Max and his team were easy to work with and willing to take calls whenever we had questions. The rate by PNC was very competitive so it was an easy choice for us. As first time home buyers, working with Max and PNC was smooth and everything I could have hoped for. read more

We are so lucky we happened upon Max through a referral from another lender who worked with Max before and mentioned PNC would be able to get us better rates. Max isn't like any other lender we worked with and we've worked with BofA, Chase, and smaller one of lenders that just were not as responsive and helpful as Max. MAX and his team are the BEST! Thank you for getting us a great rate, being very very responsive and available. If he misses your call he will call you back or text you that he will call you back, but most of the time he answers the phone which is so rare with lenders these days. He really hustles to help you get your loan as soon as possible. We are SO SO grateful for all your help Max, you are the best! And your team, and Tonya are so wonderful and super nice too! read more

Max was one of the options in our realtor's list of lenders and I'm so glad we were able to cross paths and work together. I had talked to a few lenders before deciding on going with Max and after completing the whole process with him, I can't imagine working with anyone else. From the beginning, Max was professional, direct, and super helpful with answering all our questions. The home buying process on the lending side could be daunting for a first time home buyer but Max made it an enjoyable process. Max was able to explain all the loan options to me and I never felt any pressure in anyway from him. His response times were great and we never had any issues reaching him or his team. He was always available and there for us when needed. We were always well informed of where we were in the process and the timelines. The rate we got was also competitive and comparable to some of the other big banks. His assistant Tonya also gets some kudos as well. She was great to work with and responded quickly. We were able to work through a bunch of paperwork with her easily. Although he works for a big bank (PNC), the service he provides is nothing I've experienced before at a bank, big or small. I would recommend him to family and friends and look forward to doing business with him again. read more

Max was awesome to work with! Very reliable, professional, and works to get you the best rate possible! We went through several other lenders but chose Max because his rate was the lowest. He was able to get us an off grid loan when not many other banks can. He went above and beyond! read more

An absolute star lender. Worked with Max for 2 purchases and 1 refinance and each time his professionalism, transparency, and the ability to be aggressive were higher than every other lender I interacted with. Max and Tonya went from the start (pre-approval) to finish (close of escrow) comfortably in 21 days (although they could have done it in 15). All through - they communicated transparently and clearly and were always easy to reach out to. Highly recommend working with Max and his team the next time you need a home loan or refinance. read more

Max and Tonya are the dynamic duo I didn't know I needed when looking for a loan. I was referred to them through a friend. As a first time homebuyer, it is a bit stressful understanding how the entire process works... Through our first consultation, Max walked me through my finances in search for the best situation that would work for me. He offered multiple options based on my credit and one thing that stood out from me was his overall transparency. I did not feel pressure in any way like I've felt from other mortgage lenders and that is what separates him and his team from the rest. From the preapproval process to finally closing on our loan, Max and his team were diligent, proactive, and professional. I would highly recommend going with Max and his team. read more

Max was patient and detailed in explaining the details of our mortgage. In addition, his team was detailed, expedient and very responsive -- over all they were able to get us a great deal on our cash out refinance. PNC was very fast and our mortgage closed in less than 45 days (which is what was initially quoted to us) -- on our previously refinance, PNC was pretty slow, so the quick turnaround was a welcome surprise. read more

Max is absolutely amazing to work with. Always quick to respond, takes his time to explain the details of everything and anything. I have asked him questions multiple times and each time he is super respectful and patient to ensure I understand it fully. I also admire how he doesnt try to sell you anything but is super honest and tries his best to get you the best rates. I have already recommended Max to my friends and family and will always go through him for any future needs. read more

Max is extremely professional and efficient. Responds quickly to inquiries. He and PNC helped us secure a loan for a second home just as rates were starting to climb again. Working with Max on a refinance was an excellent experience. It was only the second year of us running our own business so we were unsure how the process would work. But Max was very helpful in making sure we got all the documents underwriting needed and he checked in frequently to let us know how things were going. I cannot stand long periods of silence during financial transactions, and I told Max that up front before we began working with him so he ensured every part of the process was transparent. I've already referred him to two friends and will continue to do so and we look forward to working with him during our next purchase. read more

Working with Max Bottaro at PNC Bank was extremely pleasant. My mother referred me to him initially and she told me she was lucky she was able to find him because he helped her out a great deal. While it may taken a bit longer than I anticipated because I was doing by refi doing the holidays and COVID-19 has made everything more difficult, Max always kept me updating on what was going on. Him and his team make sure I got the best rate I could (lower that I initially anticipated!) which helped me a great deal. I would recommend Max and his team (Specifically Tonya!) any day! He is extremely professional, helped me understand every processes and step of the way and made the process simple for me. Thank You, Max! read more
