When I walked into Mavis tires Keith ask me if everything was alright. I wanted to cry in my mind I have no choice but to trust him. I had my oil changed in Decatur Ga just before an hour drive my oil light came on. I couldn't believe it. I explained this to Keith, as welcoming he was made me felt I would be able to trust him me being a woman. When they put my car on the lift to see where the leak was coming from Keith showed me how the oil was just pouring out. To find out the company in Decatur Ga made a mistake in changing my oil and filter. I've delt with many car repair companies, Keith went over and beyond to make sure I would be back on the road and the job done right. I travel to SC a lot. I feel like I really lucked out finding Mavis Tire and Brakes. On my way to visit my mom in Augusta my tire light started blinking and then stayed on. I stopped at the nearest place I could find - which happened to be Mavis in Thompson. I walked in and waited as the owner was helping a customer and heard him share what sounded like good advice. When the customer left he turned to the employee who performed the service and told him he did a really good job. When it was my turn I told him about my light and he checked my tire pressure which was too high and also checked my sensors. After he got my tire pressures corrected and I tried to pay him - he wouldn't accepted the payment. Even after I insisted. Maybe for him it was not a big deal but for me it was a big relief and also a nice reminder that there are people who are genuinely kind and who look out for others. read more

Great Service I had a Front-end alignment on my car. I didn't even have an appointment just stopped in and they took care of everything. I had a rear tire that kept losing air they found a nail in the side wall it could not be repaired but they had the exact same tire in stock and replace it for me.
