Very disappointed with tire rotation. Had my tires rotated on 4/10/25 at Mavis Tire in Nazareth Pa where I had purchased $1300 in tires. Today I noticed the tires were slightly over the manufacturer recommended pressure as it is getting warmer, so went to adjust and found the tires were physically rotated but they failed to rotate pressures nor did they retrain the Tire Pressure Monitor System. Then after I left I get a call telling me they don't even had the tires that I reserved! Ohhh but they had junk Mavis brand tires they were willing to sell me instead of the Goodyear I ordered. I was a loyal customer at Mavis in Nazareth, Pa for years. I called and made appt. for State Inspection and oil change. I told him I would wait in shop. They said Wed. is good as well as 8am. I show up and the manager tells me that they do not take appts for State Inspection til after 9 and they could not do it today. I asked who did i speak to on the phone, he checked computer and said Jose and he is in some cubicle in NY. He said they say yes to everything. I took 2 tires and 2 rims to have mounted & balanced after being a fairly satisfied Mavis customer for many years. Brooks called me on 11/25/22 to say they were finished and I asked for my total. I ALWAYS ask for the total and was given an amount of $50.28. My husband picked them up on 11/27/22 and was given a total of over $98!!! They came down to $78 which is still unacceptable. Everything went well with my inspection and I was very happy with the service but then at the end I was told that I needed to check my brake fluid my power steering every 30,000 miles and then i was told I have a low battery. I was just at Ertle Subaru last week getting an oil change and so I called them about this. I brought my truck to Mavis in Nazareth to have a misfire in the engine. They called at the end of the day and said it was fixed. I got there and they were closing because of a covid contamination and wouldn't be reopening for a week. I paid for the repair and drove it off the lot and the truck was misfiring worse than when I first brought it to them. I immediately went back to them and told me to contact the manager when they reopen which I did and the manager wasn't there and I left my number because they said he would call back but never did. I contacted them two more times and got the same results, no returned call. I took the next step and contacted corporate offices, they sent me paperwork to file a complaint along with the bill from the other mechanic that properly fixed the problem and basically got the runaround between corporate offices and credit first credit cards ( Mavis credit cards) even though they said that I would be reimbursed but never did. I'm a contractor and the time that I lost due to not having a vehicle was costly for me and more than anything, very frustrating! read more

I brought my car to Mavis to have tires installed and to have an alignment completed. The technician left my car in gear and it fell off the front of the lift causing damage to the rocker panels and underbody. I was told that I could take the car to the dealer and that Mavis would cover the repairs. I was also told that I would receive a call from the Regional Manager. My experience with Mavis in Nazareth was a textbook example of terrible customer service! I had a 9:30am appointment for an inspection and service. I dropped off the car and the keys with the attendant 10 minutes early. I returned at 4:30pm to find that my car had not been touched. When asking the staff what happened, they stated that they got busy with walk-ins. Walk-ins? The whole point of an appointment is that it takes priority over a walk-in! After pressing some more, the staff never apologized or even realized that this was a problem and simply said they'd "try" to get to it next week. In short, don't bother going to this place. The staff obviously don't know how to manage themselves or the customers. Save yourself the time and aggravation by going with another option. read more

This is the worst business I've had to deal with. We were sold tires good for 50,000 miles and only got a little more than half. When they sold us the tires we were advised by manager that if the tires don't last they will replace tires for no charge. Well, they did not follow through, we ended up having to pay $215.00 per tires and mounting and balancing. The manager would not budge! This was my second time coming to this location. I had an oil change done, tire rotation, and they diagnosed the loud creaking sound under my driver's side wheel well. It was a bad ball joint and they replaced the control arm on it. I also had a slight oil leak and they fixed that as well. It was all done within 3 hours time. I was very pleased with their pricing and time and their friendliness with customer service. I also had coupons from their website and they easily added the discounts to my invoice. I will definitely come back here again in the future! I know that a lot of people complain about how long it takes sometimes. Fixing cars is a labor intensive job, not to mention how hot it was that day and their AC was broken. For everything they did, it took a little over 3 hours, but I personally feel that was very reasonable. Even having inspections done at my dealership, it's always been at least an hour or more to wait. When you choose to wait for your car, plan to be there for a while. I'm just so thankful to have my car fixed and have it done in less than a day. These guys are awesome! Thank you for all that you do! read more

Had an inspection scheduled for 10 AM on a Saturday, they didn't finish until 2 PM Sunday. Normally no big deal but they honestly just slapped stickers on the windshield. Mavis in Easton caught that a tire was installed backwards and a damaged wheel bearing. This significantly affects my long daily commute. read more

I want to start by saying that this establishment is not honest. I took both my vehicles to them a 2004 Sienna and a 2003 protege 5. I am shocked that they could only fail me for lower control ants on both my vehicles. I am a technician by trade and certified. I work on my own vehicles and when the tech tells me that both vehicle need the same repairs I was baffled. On my sienna my rack and pinion was leaking, front exhaust pipe leaking exhaust, transmission pan gasket leaking fluid, ohh and I have both license plate bulbs out? On my Mazda my hood latch does not lock "need to take to a body shop", I have also no license plate bulbs out as well. So I ask them if I take care of the repairs my self since I am a technician how long do I have to return and will I incur another fee for inspection? Their answer was no charge on re-inspection and no time limit. So I get my sienna done first and my wife takes it back less then 30 days. They want to charge me and since it's past 5 days after inspection they will have to start all over! I research the PA inspection laws and I have 30 days to return. They have lost my trust and business from here in. They are crooks and only like a common repair "lower control arms" as a matter of fact my control arms on both my vehicle are not even torn, just minor cracks in the begging stages. SMH... I wish I would've read the other reviews before giving this place a chance. I experienced the same terrible customer service and mismanagement as the customer review from 6/15/18. I made an appointment online for 4:30 the next day for an inspection and emissions test. When I called to confirm I was told, "Sure, bring it in. As long as you can leave it here and not wait we'll be able to get it in". I dropped off the car before 4:30 and was told the same thing, "We're open until 8:30. We'll get it in and give you a call when it's done." At 8:00 I still had not heard anything regarding the status of the car. So I called, only to be told, "Sorry, it never got in." What was the point of having an appointment then?? If you were backed up with walk-ins or other appointments then be honest and say I don't think it's going to get done today. When were you going to call?? Shouldn't that have been exactly when you knew my car wasn't going to get serviced?? I shouldn't have been the one to call 30 minutes before your closing time. By the way, my car is one year old with barley has 13,000 miles. I'm pretty sure the inspection and emissions wouldn't have taken that long!! Terrible customer service and management. My husband took our truck in to repair a hole in the tire caused by a nail. We made an appointment for 9:30am, and he showed up at 9am to be sure he was checked in promptly. At around 10:45am the tire was finally looked at, and my husband was told there was nothing that could be done for us. The tire was put back on, and my husband was on his way home at around 11am. I'm giving this business 3 stars because customer service was friendly enough, and it wasn't their fault that nothing could be done about the hole, but the fact that my husband had to wait an hour and a half past his appointment time for something that took five minutes was a little bit frustrating, and took a decent chunk out of his day. In reading other reviews, it seems that if customer service is your only concern, this could be a decent location for you, but if you're on any kind of a schedule, you should consider either going elsewhere, or clear your entire day. read more
