After standing there for a few minutes, and nothing is happening, you come to find out that the gas pump is broken. Why in the world was there no out of order sign on the gas pump so I didn't waste my time? Put the gas cap back on, get back in the car, put the key in the ignition, drive to the other lane, do the same thing all over again, put the nozzle into the gas tank, push the button, it works this time, however, it goes at a snail's pace, and it took forever to get gas.

Ordinarily I find it difficult to review gas stations, mainly because there isn't always a lot of…read morematerial you can use to base a review on. In simple terms.... 1. Gas stations dispense gas for cars. 2. Cars need gas to go. 3. Fusion power is not yet available to power vehicles (unlike in those lying Back to the Future movies). #2 makes #1 inherently required, you have to go somewhere. #3 is just annoying, but the fault of poor research by Hollywood. However, I think what puts Maverick above the curve is the stores themselves. And this particular location has a big, modern, clean store with plenty of variety of goods and has friendly service on almost every visit I've made. As a result of this and the fact to boot it also has plenty pumps so you can always get in without a wait to gas up makes this my gas station of choice. I try to support Maverick since while not a wholly local chain, it is one of the bigger ones in Utah and certainly limited to only a handful of Western states, many of which are the lesser populated ones.

Anyone know if I can get a Walgreens referral and discount to speak with a therapist because of her? All kidding aside. If I wasn't raising a little girl of my own, I would say that this woman is a flat out raging b***h. I cannot stand her. She is condescending and blatantly rude. So let's get down to basics - it's a convenience store. So does this location live up to that? I can say very much so, in that regard this one is very well situated on what is now a major East-West corridor in the South Valley and is super easy to get in and out of quickly. Service is friendly and it's a clean and generally well laid out store. Definitely one of the better 7-11 locations I've been to, and fairly reasonable prices when it comes to the food and beverage offerings, but for day to day commodities such as milk for example the grocery stores are still generally cheaper. I never get gas at 7-11 so I don't really have a frame of reference for how they compare on that front. Hopefully someone else steps up to review in that regard.
