I found it surprising that this maverick Doesn't accept quarters. I went to the ConocoPhillips next door. They gladly accepted them I was going to get some gas, my fuel was low. I frequently visit maverick to tank up. I usually get loaded on junk food and Cinnabon.... I don't think I will be back for how embarrassing it was for my money not to be accepted. read more

Miguel is AMAZING ! He helped me with the codes for gas . He helped me with the app. The manager helped me with items I couldn't find. I love the trees decorations the gas station was stunning. I read someone here had the same issue I had at this store. I'm sure there are many others that experienced this that did not write a review. This store needs to get an accountant from corporate to check this franchise out. They scam peoples bank account with three different transactions when you did only one purchase. These transactions are pending and the store manager carelessly tells you to get your money back from your bank, "to dispute it, it's easy ". Why??? The error was done at your store. You can fix a simple mistake. The old buzzard, his name is Manuel, runs the franchise. I spoke with him to explain what happened and he jumped to his employees defense saying they do nothing wrong. First RED FLAG. This guy steals money from the customer with ficticious transactions, the customer disputes it and the bank pays for it. Seamless transaction for the unethical store manager. The transaction I did required cash back too. This store needs to be audited. I bet he has tons of transaction done like this all day long. He's a crook!!! (1 star just to be heard) read more

5-6 months ago I went with my friends around 1am and an associate with dreads working there was very rude I was talking behind a red SUV and we didn't know it was his car he proceeded to come at us to back off because he thought we were robbing something which we weren't, we were only talking and he had his dog in there and threatened us he'd let his dog out if we didn't go away read more

Maverik use to be good but now its even with 7-11 so what does that say? No food ready at 6am. What kind of place does not have burritos ready by the time half of America goes to work? What a joke. this is non-slanderous and I still have every piece of paperwork and text . it is a federal offense if they ask what a disability is but every one of us knows we end up having to tell them ...The first discrimination happened a couple of months after I got hired after doing every job duty and I read the job description and duties when I filled out the application... and they called it "a fit for duty" form and they pulled me off the schedule I told them everything on there was physical ailments and that I just have anxiety so Sherri told me just to have my psych doctor fill it out?? one of my coworkers who is what they would call normal could barely walk with two knee braces but he was the store directors lifelong friend and roommate... my other ex coworker was the ops and for a long time he is barely able to walk and has needed to have a knee replacement for a long time... my psych doctor reluctantly filled out the form and sent it back to a different department the employee at that department called him and was equally confused and that it was a generic form such as after an extended stay in a hospital after surgery she even asked him why he didn't fill out the hospital release date then they were really really confused when he told them what had happened but I needed my job so I was given my job back but they still would not answer any of my questions because the only answer they could give me would be that they discriminated. my Psychiatrist heard the text message of this recent continuing discrimination that the store Director sent me and immediately said disability discrimination so I contacted HR because EEOC will only get involved when you climb up the entire chain of command and give them every opportunity to resolve it... HR stopped answering my calls ....would not tell me the name of the department above them ... they stopped returning my phone calls and after multiple voicemails... the receptionist at the EEOC suggested instead of just asking for an inquiry based on the text messages from the store Director steph and the information from the district manager Jessica to file an official charge... however they told me again I must keep climbing the chain of command.. I still have no idea what department is above them ....but I still have 300 days left to file an official charge ....go in the store before you're hired and even if you're a concerned loved one of somebody disabled and you will still see Joe and Shawn ... my two ex coworkers... so so so obviously not able to do the job duties ... because of their leg problems but I am the only one on disability and you're the only one given the "fit for duty" form ... please keep in mind I still had to have my psych doctor fill it out even though my disability is only anxiety.... I really can't believe they did some things so obvious as this the second time... I ended up missing days because I did not want to keep explaining and keep explaining to other coworkers the details of my disability.. the store directors solution was to suggest I take myself off the schedule....in my text messages to the store Director I was begging just for compassion ... What a joke!! The manager with dreads at maverick around 11 pm on 02-21 has serious anger issues we were only there for at most 6 minutes looking around. I was checking the expiration date on the milk which was the last thing I was getting when he says "you ain't ever drunk a nesquick before" in a very aggressive tone to my confusion I state that I have and he moves on to say very angrily "you been walking around for 15 minutes and You need to hurry up cus I gotta get something from the back" I walked over and he continues to say I shouldn't take that long in the store anyway and he's running it so its his rules. My friend proceeds to pay and he asks if she would like a bag to which she simply says it doesn't matter. The guy got pretty scary because he proceeded to threaten throwing us out the store when we were already leaving he even went on to call us stupid for almost using the wrong door :( Keep in mind this is a tall muscular grown man and both me and my friend are young girls. Also we weren't being loud weren't making a mess and just trying to shop. Super bad experience if I could I would not give this place any stars. read more

Maverick man up & employ more than one person on weekends plz. Your lines are so long it takes forever just to get out of there. And it doesn't help when other customers want to talk your polite cashier's ear off... you would definitely make more money on 112th and Colorado if customers knew they wouldn't be held prisoner in line for 10 minutes. read more
