I frequently visit maverick to tank up. I usually get loaded on junk food and Cinnabon.... I don't think I will be back for how embarrassing it was for my money not to be accepted.

I go in for vape pods and it's nothing but blunt and sharp attitude. Just tonight I stood at the counter for maybe 5 minutes before Luke comes out, completely ignores me while stocking the food in the warmer, doesn't say a word. I was just staring at him until he rushes around to the back again and stands far by the door and asks what I need. Luke might as well have rolled his eyes or gave me the bird if he really hates this job so much then quit. The other employees are typically much nicer!

On…read moreMarch 31st, I visited the automatic Autowash at 120th & Holly, and what should have been a routine car wash turned into a damaging and frustrating experience. While my vehicle was in the middle of the wash cycle, I suddenly heard a loud bang--like metal striking my car. When the wash finished, I discovered that a piece of metal had fallen from one of their rusted roof beams, hitting the top of my vehicle. The impact caused a noticeable dent and stripped the paint all the way down to bare metal. I immediately documented everything with photos and video. I attempted to contact them right away, but since it was after hours, I left a message. The following day, I called again and was told to file an online damage report and that a manager would contact me the following week. Given how clear the situation was--and that this was obviously caused by poor maintenance of their facility--I expected them to take responsibility. That never happened. After waiting with no response, I followed up myself. When I finally spoke with a manager, I was told that I needed to file a claim with my own insurance before they would proceed. This is completely unreasonable considering the damage was caused by their facility, not by anything I did. I explained that I did not want to involve my insurance for something that was clearly not my fault, as it could negatively impact me. Instead of escalating or helping resolve the issue, they doubled down. The following day, I was told that if I did not go through my insurance, they would close the case entirely--despite the fact that they have video footage of the incident and full documentation from me. This is not just poor customer service--it is a clear attempt to avoid liability and shift responsibility onto the customer. A business that allows parts of its structure to fall and damage vehicles, then refuses to take responsibility, shows a complete lack of integrity and accountability. At this point, I have no choice but to pursue legal action. This situation could have been resolved quickly and professionally, but instead, they chose to deny responsibility for something that was entirely within their control. I strongly caution anyone considering this location. If something goes wrong, do not expect them to stand behind their service or take responsibility for their negligence.

Theres a hot food bar inside but was closed when I came here. They sell everything you'd find at a 7/11 and more. The bathrooms are also closed early so if you need to pee after 8pm chances are, you won't be able to here. Staff are chill. It's a chill place and the gas is pretty cheap.
