They lost my business after 18+ years of going 5 times a week. My family refuses to do business with them so does all of my friends. Both have quit because of this. I was also forced to contact the FTC " Federal Trade Commission" under the consumer protection act, as well as the BBB " BETTER BUISNESS BUREAU" in hopes to protect all customers not only myself.

Case in point, a box of cookies had the sell-by date of April 2020 (I didn't notice until I spit out the first stale bite and looked). Next time I was in the store, I grabbed two boxes and took them to the service counter and they said they'd make sure they were pulled. Two weeks later, there are still 16 boxes on the shelf. Milk is routinely past date, as is cheese. If they are this careless about things that can be checked, how can I be sure they are handling perishable foods and getting them refrigerated promptly?! This week I filled my cup about one-third full of ice, drove home (only five minutes with my car's A/C on), and by the time I got there the ice had already melted and my Dr Pepper was still room temperature. I have avoided this location because the exterior appearance looks a bit run down. I had expected a typical gas station convenience store feel but the store was well organized and fairly clean. It had a similar feel to the newer Maverick locations. Located on Main Street in Layton, it is easiest to access as you are heading south, though there is a turn lane if trying to access from the North. The parking lot is small but when I went, there wasn't any issues finding a spot to park. The employee helping me was extremely friendly and welcoming. I may need to start coming to this location more often.
