My only little pet peeve is when I ask where something is and get an "I think it's over there..." Costco is HUGE and can get super busy, so being sent in the wrong direction can turn into quite the adventure! I'd much rather someone double-check if they aren't sure. What really stood out during my last visit was how kind and accommodating the staff was when I lost my keys. My husband ended up having to bring me my spare, and I didn't get the call that my keys had been found until about 7:30 the next morning--but I was SO relieved they were found! Definitely saved me the hassle and expense of ordering another spare. This Costco is consistently clean, nicely stocked, and has a great team. Definitely my go-to location!

Sometimes an item in Boise is not in Meridian or vice versa. The team at the Meridian is fanstatic, whethere it is the door checkers/scanners or the cashiers and even the pharmacy department. We are very thankful to have this location so close to us. Lastly, the newest intiative to grab hot dogs, pizzas and more is very problematic as they no longer call out numbers. The new initiative is to self check out and get in line. What the suits and ties didn't factor was how big that line would get with all the customer's carts. There is no 'parking lot' for the carts so the line to hand off the receipt to the food court person is simply unorganized and chaotic.

The younger kid at the butcher section is just clueless. On multiple questions I've asked him about something they had, and he just says he doesn't know and stares at me blankly. There was a lady at the butcher counter one time, I asked her if they had more of a specific chicken because there was only one piece in the display.. she said, yeah, but I'd have to cut it.. then stared at me as if she was hoping I'd say nevermind. It's the middle of the day... I'm not asking you to cut up more at closing, and regardless, is that not your job? It just seems as though most of the workers behind the counters hate being there and seem put out if you ask for help. If you don't like your job, go get a new one. But if you are there for a job, do it.. and be pleasant about it. Again, it's odd because all of the checkout workers I've come across (and I go there several times a week) are so pleasant. Maybe it's that the managers aren't paying attention to the people the specific department workers or there are different managers assessing those personalities when they hire... but either way, they need to get some better quality people back there.
