Don't water heaters always fail on the weekend? Tried a few highly rated plumbers on Yelp (one of which I'd used successfully in the past who I still haven't heard from two days later). Jorge picked up his phone on Sunday and was at my house an hour and a half later. Surveyed the problem, examined alternatives on Sunday so I could choose and he installed on Monday. The water heater setup when he was done was obviously superior even to a layman to what the last group did. The heater closet was cleaner, valves updated to code, piping system improved and set up much better for future access. Then, Jorge answered all my questions and trained me in the annual maintenance. He called the next day to check that all was working well (when was the last time you had a follow up call from your plumber?) All for a reasonable price. Being fairly new in the area and having moved into an older home with original water pipes, we were faced with a major water leak somewhere under the house. It was the water company that advised us that there was a continuous high water flow into our home. Because of the Christmas holiday it was difficult to get a plumber right away but we were fortunate to find and contact Jorge of Maverick Plumbing who timely arrived as scheduled.
