Our place had no truly hot water as the tanks were from the 90s and quite corroded. I was impressed they even gave us lukewarm water, tbh. Anyway, that's too big of a job for my DIY mind to tackle so we called the awesome guy who helps my boyfriend at his business, Jesus! Jesus is pretty busy so prepare to schedule out a bit. He arrived as scheduled, though, and even found a way to come back later because we had bought the wrong parts. SMH. We exchanged them right away based on his recommendations and now we have super hot water. Yay! When he's working, Jesus is super focused and works fast. I tried to offer him snacks or a drink but he only took a water and concentrated wholly on the tasks for the rest of the time... until the end when he asked if we'd like to use the old tanks as yard decor or have him take them away. Haha During his return visit, he also did a quick fix on a leaky, loud toilet and took a look at some of the other shower / faucet fixes we need help with. Gustavo showed up right on time, was super professional, and took the time to explain everything clearly. Instead of pushing an unnecessary repair, he let us know the valve is likely faulty but not a major issue right now--and he was still able to safely hook up our new fridge without any problems. That alone saved us over $300. He also gave us helpful insight about how Hollister's water can cause wear and tear on plumbing, appliances, and fixtures, which we really appreciated. On top of all that, there was no charge for the visit. That kind of honesty and customer service is rare these days. We'll definitely be calling them back soon to install a water softener system. To our amazement Jacy said he could be out in an hour and showed up around half an hour later. He got right to work and located the approximate location of the blockage. We have a very long house to septic line and he had to use two different cables to unblock the pipe. It was hard work in 93 degree weather but he finished the work in a couple hours, made suggestions to straighten the dip in the line and install another clean out should we again need his services. He is very personable, communicates well, is very efficient and his prices are very reasonable. If you need a plumber for what ever reason, take our advice and be sure to give Jacy a call!
