Rock and hip hop seem to predominate the space in this small shop. They also sell CDs and tapes. Follow them on Instagram @vinylsaurs. In terms of parking, it is easy to find because there is a parking garage that is free and right behind the shop. If you plan to stop by Uptown Whittier, Lovell's Records is a must!

From household items, old posters, knick-knacks, and vintage clothes, you never know what exactly you'll find, so take your time. There's literally stuff everywhere. Some items are inaccessible because it's blocked by other merchandise, and some of the things are a little too fragile to move for closer inspection. Price wise, items are fair, and if you have any questions, the lady that runs the shop is happy to help. I love buying from local stores and shops in Fullerton there is so much history and so many places to check out. Black Hole should be considered a local institution for heavy punk, new wave, Brit pop and alternative music lovers. When I was looking for the obscure bands that the radio and Hollywood would not play or give love to I could always count on Black Hole records to fill that void of artistic need for the different and not the mundane. Bill is very knowledgeable when it comes to music and you can easily spend hours talking to him about music. He also has a band called naughty women check them out. It beats waiting for albums to come in the mail from Amazon crime.
