Definitely worth buying. Food tastes great, and comes in big portions. Ordered delivery and it arrived within an hour. Service was alright.

We stopped in for happy hour, and between the $1 oysters, the ocean breeze, and the live music, it felt like the perfect South Florida afternoon. The oysters were fresh, cold, and honestly a steal. You can't beat a buck apiece for something that actually tastes like it just left the water. Our server kept things moving and never let us feel forgotten, even with the crowd rolling in for happy hour. The live music added such a great vibe -- not too loud, not too sleepy. Just that easy, beachy soundtrack that makes you want to sit back, sip something cold, and watch the world go by. And the biggest bonus for us? They're dog-friendly. We brought our little guy and he was treated like a paying customer. Plenty of space, no fuss, no side-eye -- just a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere. Lucky Lou's feels like one of those places you go once and immediately add to your "we're coming back" list. Great seafood, great prices, great vibe, and you can bring your dog. That's a win in my book.

After reading all the rave reviews about their happy hour, we decided to stop by on a weekday -- and overall, it was definitely worth checking out. The decor is stylish while still feeling like a true bar, without coming across as overly divey like some of the surrounding seafood spots nearby. We arrived about an hour before happy hour and were initially served by Am B, who was knowledgeable about the menu and very attentive to our requests. Once happy hour started, we moved to the high-top area since HH specials are only offered at the bar and surrounding high-top tables. Our second server, Andrew, was equally fantastic. As for the food, the fish dip was just okay. Based on other reviews, we expected larger chunks of fish throughout, but that wasn't really the case. Not pictured, but the kids' burger was surprisingly one of the best kids' burgers we've seen anywhere. The $1 oysters during happy hour are an unbeatable deal, especially since they're a decent size. The $5 hush puppies were also good, and the sauce definitely elevated them. For drinks, I loved that they offer wine on tap. My Sauvignon Blanc was crisp and refreshing after a hot beach day. That said, the happy hour drink selection was a little underwhelming. The beer and wine specials were only $1 off, and the $4 mixed drinks were basic well drinks. I also wish there were a few more food options included on the HH menu. One minor downside -- there were quite a few pesky flies lingering around and landing on the food, which meant we were constantly waving them away. Maybe adding small table fans could help minimize the issue. Overall, this is a great place to check out, and if you're an oyster fan, happy hour is absolutely the time to go.

I loved how open the place felt. It was pretty busy, but we were able to snag seats at the bar. The staff was friendly and attentive and offered great suggestions, since it was our first time there. We ordered a flight of beer so we could taste a bunch of different kinds of their locally brewed beer. We throughly enjoyed them all! The aesthetic was on point! It was such a coastal feel, that even though we weren't on the water, it really felt like it! This place is perfect for an afternoon out or hosting your next event. They also have tons of events on their calendar as well. I definitely would come back and hang out again!

The Cove Brewery is on the beach, in this little hodgepodge of independent stores which is itself worthy of visit. Appropriately, the area is called "The Cove". The brewery is nice and clean, airy and open, set in a beautiful building. There's a lot of food around, merchandise, etc. The beers themselves are beach themed also, good lighter beers easy to drink. Note for beer geeks: J. Wakefield has been involved at a management level with The Cove, and he recently announced recipe collaborations with The Cove, meaning that the old JWB classics will make an appearance at Deerfield Beach.
