I encountered multiple team members throughout the various departments, restocking and straightening displays. The care and attention to detail shows. The associate at the checkout was very outgoing and asked about my experience--love that. And don't even get me started on their Starbucks...immaculately clean, with the most excellent team. Both baristas were happy, engaged and fast! I tried the newest seasonal beverage, at their recommendation--iced toasted vanilla oatmilk shaken espresso--and it did not disappoint. Well done, Target Plainfield!

The major…read morethings I do not like about this Target location is that locator to find certain items is inaccurate. It takes it to the wrong aisles and they lie about having certain items in stock. Prices here are okay depending on what you're looking for. The checkout lines are very long here. All the…read moreshelves are just stuff put on top of stuff and why doesn't it sell because they doubled their price! No more vintage clothes?? At a thrift store!! Wanted an 80's - 2000's party dress none here. No funky unique clothing here! Looks more like a kohl's clothing rack! All more modern clothing but at almost retail price for USED clothing!! $12.99 a used sweater - No thanks! And they don't sell pajamas? Why I have no idea!! I need some warmer sleeping lounge pants. $8.99 here - brand new at Walmart - yup $8-10 range!! And the music? Felt like I was at the Aria hotel in Vegas? It's faced pace dance music. While I am browsing and shopping? Isn't the idea to keep us in the store longer and not feel rushed? Maybe they know that the younger crowd and grandmas shops there but separately. But us young people shop there because we want the same stuff grandma's want at thrift pricing. Oh and the cashier changed the price on me. Twice! First item It had 2 tags at $1.99 and she said no I priced this item this morning at 4.99? I was like what!! Then A handmixer had a tag of $1.99 in a really weird spot! but she ripped the tag and said it should be $3.99. These tags once removed leave a residue so people don't take the tags off and reduce the price!! I should have asked for a manger! I declined the 2 items because you guessed it a new handmixer at Walmart is $7! Rather but it new and know it works and it's new!! And then she didn't like the fact that I got $4 plate at $2 because it was the color of the day? So what's the problem here I was going to ask? SMH Goodwill has lost its way! Just go to kohl's and Walmart - similar prices and IT'S NEW!!

Sure, it'd have to be a small plane, but this place is so big that you're bound to find *something* in here that interests you, even if you're not there to buy anything specific. I usually am, though. Being something of an artist myself, I am always looking for the most inexpensive places to buy my materials since the term "starving artist" really tends to ring true, especially these days. Over the years, I've come to find that Hobby Lobby almost always has the best prices around (and if you watch their weekly ads, 50% off regular prices are an added bonus). In a store as large as this one, I'm almost guaranteed to be able to find what I'm looking for, too. I can't speak for all crafters or artists, but for my drawing/painting needs, Hobby Lobby is always the first place I go...and thankfully, since they normally have what I need in stock, it's the last place, too.

Staff here was pretty friendly, the store is located in a busy strip mall with many things going on so be wary of traffic. Overall the store was pretty modern and has a lot of eye-catching things. Overall I thought was a decent story to check out and visit.
