The girl working in here immediately seen to us and asked what we were after. We pointed to the beautiful bouquet's placed in bags/boxes and asked about prices. They started at £20 and went up as far as £40. We decided to go for £30 and she asked if we wanted her to make it up there and then-which we did! I must say, watching her work was really mesmerising and she mad it look so easy! The flowers were like a representation of Autumn! They were orange, red, deep purple and rust coloured. Floral Earth is from another planet in terms of its flowers and its service (beg pardon for the pun!). Set up and run by Tim Kirkpatrick some ten years ago, Floral Earth has become a must-use service from one off purchases to weddings and funerals. Tim is very ably assisted by his team, including the redoubtable Neil (his dad) and together they make the world of cut flowers a better place. My sister-in-law once ordered flowers online for me (she lives in NewcastleUpon Tyne) and I knew they were from Foral Earth the second I clpped eyes on them. I swear, they are to flowers what Jo Malone is to scents. They delivered three days in advance, I was absent from home, so my flowers stayed rotting for three days without care. By the time I arrived, and expected to receive fresh flowers, the water in the vase was all dirty, and as a result, no fresh morning flowers as an expected gift. Very upsetting. I asked for a refund of the extra fee they charged, but they disagreed, as it "would be too complicated".

They exceeded my expectations in every way! My daughter and I have a very dear cousin in Belfast. We wanted to send her a bouquet of flowers, from each of us, for her birthday. I couldn't find my usual go-to florist and picked Norah Mitchell's due to their photographs, and price. I live in California and my daughter and her family live on the east coast. Vicki was wonderful to deal with on email and Carolyn was very kind and helpful on the phone. Flower arrangements were lovely and very affordable. Even my daughter remarked how beautiful and affordable her arrangement was. We highly recommend them and will be using them again during the upcoming Christmas holiday! They were extremely knowledgeable, knew how to deliver my vision and suggested great cost saving alternatives, when I went over the budget. They initially did a really good consultation with the lovely florist Helen in the shop, I knew immediately I had picked the right place, Helen knew exactly what I wanted. On the day of the wedding they delivered and set up fabulous displays at my venue, a beautiful altar arrangement and stunning arrangements that were attached and hung on the tall candlestick holders at either side of the alter, lots of my guests commented on how amazing the flowers were. Jill Edwards could not do enough to help me, this was fantastic and took a lot of stress out of the preparations. On the morning of the wedding they also delivered the bouquets and button holes, they were out of this world!!! So delighted with the service and all the flowers that were organised, the bouquets had Guilder Roses, Akito Roses Rosemary, Fennel Thlaspi Green Bell Eryngium, Peony Roses, Eucalyptus and Lily Grass, they looked and smelt Devine!! They also do a delivery service which is free of charge provided you've spent over £30 on the product you wish to be delivered. They deliver all over the city and at a time that suits you best.

It provides a scenic shortcut from Royal Avenue to Fountain Street. The Arcade is home to Lunns Jewelers, Queens Bar as well as McKay's Old School sweet shop. If I were showing Belfast off to a visitor I would take them through Queens Arcade. It's elegant and charming all at the same time. I've heard people say that the only time they use Queens Arcade is when it's raining but I would encourage you to take a few moments out of your day and slowly amble through the Arcade, if only to look up and admire the architecture.
