We were supposed to get married in September of 2020, but due to Covid we pushed our wedding out a year. Throughout the entire planning process, pre and during Covid, Nat and Ash kept us up to date with the latest regulations, walked us through messaging to our guests, created beautiful design mood boards, and so much more. We're so thankful we went with them as our planners. Not only did they execute flawlessly, they were our true partners in crime through the best and hardest times. If you like working with competent, design-gifted, real humans, you can't go wrong with Nat and Ash.

He made sure all of our requested songs were played, and we also gave him the freedom to read the crowd and choose music that would keep people on the dance floor and he absolutely delivered! The dance floor stayed packed, the music was great, and everyone had an amazing time. Dustin was professional, organized, and a huge part of making our wedding reception such a memorable night. We couldn't have been happier with our experience and would highly recommend DJ Dustin and Maui DJ Services to anyone planning a wedding or event in Maui!

The staff clearly had everything under control and didn't let the weather affect a single moment. From the ceremony to the reception, everything felt seamless and thoughtfully planned. From the moment they said "I do" to the very last dance on the dance floor, the energy, organization, and attention to detail were incredible. You could tell the team truly cares about making each wedding special. If you're looking for a stunning venue with a professional and attentive staff that can handle anything (even unexpected weather!), I would highly recommend this place. Sugar Beach Events was so easy to work with for our wedding…read more Chef Lee went out of her way to respond to emails from me as the bride, calm wedding guests who called about food allergies, and helped our coordinator to fine-tune details for the big day. SBE were really easygoing when we asked to make a few tweaks to the appetizer menu, changed the size of the wedding cake (and then changed it back), and inquired about rentals. It all went very smoothly. Expectations and rules were clearly laid out in the venue contract regarding costs, service, vendors, rentals and food. We had one surprise with the admin fees on the bar tab the night of the wedding but the service was so excellent we didn't worry about it. The venue is gorgeous! It's right on the beach but the ceremony takes place on grass, which was helpful for our guests. It has a lovely path along the side garden that we used as the wedding entrance. The house is quite large and allowed for dinner in air conditioning. They even had the AC cranked up in the bride room for getting ready. We got A LOT of compliments from our guests (and vendors) on the food. I had at least one guest compliment that they loved each appetizer and each entree. I wholeheartedly recommend booking your wedding or event here.

**Disappointing 60th Birthday Tour**…read more My daughters brought me to Hawaii to celebrate my 60th birthday, and this tour was supposed to be one of the highlights of our trip. As a three time cancer survivor, I am so grateful to be in remission and was looking forward to making beautiful memories with my girls. Unfortunately, this turned out to be the most miserable day of our vacation. From the moment our driver picked us up, he singled out our group and was extremely rude to us. Other guests noticed it too. We had brought a cooler, which we were told ahead of time was allowed, and he seemed to assume it was full of alcohol. It was mostly water. I need to drink a lot of water throughout the day, and being treated that way over it was humiliating. He also talked about safety first, but he was on his phone while driving and pulled away before my daughters were even seated. We were not late getting to the bus. We expected to learn about the history and culture of Hawaii. Instead, most of the tour was spent listening to stories about his family. He said we could ask questions, then cut us off whenever we tried. At 60 years old, I did not appreciate being treated like a child. The final straw was the turtle stop. He dropped us at a park where a large homeless encampment was set up. It did not feel safe, and we ended up calling a Lyft to leave. Our driver said he grew up on the island and had been a surfer and a security guard. I believe his name was Roy, but I would not swear to it. I cannot recommend this tour. You would be much better off renting a car and exploring on your own schedule or call Matt.

A few months ago, my family and I rented a waterslide and jumping castle through ANOTHER company…read more Though they were good, it literally cost us an arm and a leg. We decided we wanted to do something big for Easter Sunday so we wanted another waterslide. Because of the price, we chose not to get the jumping castle. As luck would have it, we ran into Eugene, the owner and operator of 808 Jumpers. We asked him what his normal price is for a waterslide. Amazingly, it was less than half from what we were being charged with the other company. Since we now were saving money, we figured we ask how much more it would be to tack on a jumping castle. Even with the jumping castle, we were still going to save a ton of money. Needless to say, we cancelled with the other company and booked with 808 Jumpers. On the day of our get together, Eugene and Chad from 808 Jumpers came to set up early. They asked us where we'd want both jumpers. They had everything up and inflated in no time flat. What surprised us is how Eugene went around with a rag and scrubbed every inch to make sure we got the jumpers in pristine condition. We even told him not to worry about it but he insisted. With the OTHER company, we had to provide the water hose for the waterslide. With 808 Jumpers, they supplied it, which was an added plus. One aspect that I really liked was the generator. With other companies, the generators used are overly noisy. The generator that 808 Jumpers used wasn't silent, but it was a whole lot quiter than the others we're used to. Our entire family; kids, adults, and every age in between had a ball. The waterslide had a slope with was a nice change from going "straight down" like on other slides. The ladder to the left was easy to get up; not where you could slip down and possibly hurt those behind you. At the bottom was a small pool that the kids used for lounging. The waterslide pool was big enough for both loungers to have room to relax while giving sliders enough room to slide without having to worry about kicking someone on the way down. Also, the pool is deep enough to splash around in and give you a safe landing but not deep where someone could possibly drown. The jumping castle was also great. It was very easy for everyone to get into but still protected the little children from falling out. Both were perfect for us. At the end of the day, when the guys from 808 Jumpers came to get the slide, they didn't just ask us if we had fun, but they asked for suggestions on how they'd be able to better themselves as a company by giving the customer a better experience. I was so impressed when they asked. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND 808 JUMPERS. They're a rather new company but their professionalism makes it seem they've been around forever. If I could give this place 6 stars, I would. At the end of the day, after everything was packed up, we were already looking at when we'd do our next family event. Best believe, whenever it is, 808 Jumpers will be right there with us. Thanks guys!
