Vic was able to deliver both mattress and box spring the day after purchase. He delivers alone, I suspect, and is quite capable of doing all the work himself, but since you got a good deal on your new mattress, it would be nice to help him if you can (these are MY thoughts btw) He also takes the old mattress and box spring to dispose of, which costs about $35, same as our township, but I don't have to drag it out on big trash day. If any of the big places say they take your old mattress away for free, it isn't true. It has been two weeks since our purchase. I wanted to wait to see how my son liked it. He loves it. I do not have any pets. Even though the table set was so poorly made it was scratched by a mug within the first few weeks, my reason wasn't good enough. "Regular wear and tear" is not included. (And shortly after the scratches, the chairs started to buckle). Also - I would have had to bring the furniture back to the store to replace - I am not doing that. The sales person was dishonest and made it seem that someone would come to my home and replace the item. Never shopping at Bob's again because I don't trust the dishonest sales people.

As a local resident in Glenside, I wanted to support Gerhard's as a local family business. Unfortunately, the problem came with the delivery- their delivery person told us he needed to put in an outlet for the dishwasher (even though we had one already installed), and that it would be $80 in addition to the $159 installation charge and $28 installation kit, and that he would not install the dishwasher without the additional payment. When making out a check, he had us make it out in his personal name, and mobile deposited the check while he was was at our house. Upon contacting the store to share how I was not very comfortable with how this went down, Gerry said he would contact the delivery team, and then I didn't hear anything from Gerhard's again for awhile. Eventually Gerhard's contacted me to explain the breakdown on their end, and promptly issued a refund for the $80. I am satisfied with their quick response, and will consider Gerhard's again for our appliance needs.

I called customer service and a lady named Kim with a bad english accent helped me. She was trying to convince me they had taken the old couch and I was very upset because i was standing next to it. She couldn't help me because she was trying to set a date till next week for them to pick up the old couch. I asked to speak to a manager and she refused to transfer me saying they all have the same system and a manager can't help me. I called back and luckily I got a very nice and helpful sales representative named Carlos F. He was super nice and sweet and overall helpful. He managed to have the delivery guys come back and pick up the old couch. I'm very pleased and thankful to Carlos for being helpful and understanding and for solving my problem.

I explained I needed a twin bed for my 89 year old dad for an assisted living facility. He did a great job directing us to a set that was reasonably priced, but would be comfortable for a senior. He was able to schedule delivery for the date I needed. The very bad - delivery service, which they charge $99 + tax for, was horrible. I received an email the day before the delivery date with a 3 hour delivery window - 10:30am-1:30pm and a website link to track the delivery. At 1:30 the projected time slipped to 2pm. At 3pm the driver finally called and said he would be there in 10 minutes. 20 minutes later he called and couldn't find the assisted living facility. I gave him directions and after another 3 calls with him he finally arrived at 4pm. The next day I spoke with Chris, the store manager, to complain and he immediately said they would refund the delivery charge and was extremely apologetic for the delivery problems even though it is totally out of his control. Hey Corporate Management - listen up - you need to significantly improve your delivery service. It reflects poorly on the company and makes it really hard on great store associates like David and Chris to do their jobs.
