On June 10, I purchased 2 Sealy Hybrid Albany Mattresses from your store. It was said that in order for be eligible for Comfort Guarantee I HAD to purchase the mattress protectors from the warehouse too. $162 for two mattress protectors.  The protectors they provide are slippery, scratchy, itchy, loud even with a sheet put over top of the protector. The sheet protectors do not stay in place. I removed the protector without ever using and put back in its original bag. I chatted with Rebecca to inquire about returning the mattress protectors. I was informed that the item was not returnable even though they forced me to purchase it or I could not be eligible for the Comfort Guarantee. I explained that these protectors are not usable, they are extremely uncomfortable to the touch and do not stay on. Rebecca B was extremely rude, refused to allow me to speak to a manager after numerous requests and also hung up on me by ending the chat without warning. As a customer, I found this interaction both shocking and unprofessional. I would appreciate a review of this matter and a response from management. Thank you for your time and attention. Please contact me to work something out. I spent over $4000 with Mattress Warehouse and would expect to be compensated for the $162 I am out for the terrible protectors. read more

Amit and Ryan are great and personable ask for them. Loved shopping here. Much better than my experience at mattress firm

This is a long time coming; however, I thought i would give management an opportunity to address the issue. After multiple calls to the store where I purchased the mattress as well as going on line to raise a complaint and sending a letter, they did not have the common courtesy to call me. I will never purchase anything from them again. The situation was that I purchased a mattress was well as a mechanical frame that lifts the back up. This was new to me as I never had a bed like this before and did not realize that there was not going to be a box spring which made the bed lower to the floor and felt like i was sleeping on the floor. I called the store and asked if they had any frames that were higher off the ground. I also called the manufacturer of the product directly and they said that I could purchase risers from them, but it would cost over $100 for these. I can't remember what they quoted me, but it was significant. I had to go online and purchased (4) risers online for about $65.00. It would have been customer service focused for the sales rep to let me know that the mattress would be low to the ground and more so that someone called me back from the management team. Not good customer service. read more

*****DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS PLACE************* Box spring is broken, over priced , high pressure sale tactic , delivery is a nightmare. The scheduled delivery time is 2:15 to 5:15pm, we were at work and expect to come home by 2:15pm, they show up at 1:30pm and blamed us not being home, I explained to them that the promised delivery time is 2:15pm to 5:15pm, I asked if they can wait because I can rush back in 10 mins, they said they will wait BUT THEY DIDN'T , I got there in 10 mins, and the delivery guy is gone without letting me know. *****DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS PLACE************* read more

Please stay away. We bought a mattress and were not pleased. They communicated a 100-day satisfaction guarantee but attempted to charge $1000+ more for a like-for-like replacement. I could say stay away, but there are so many vendors, just go somewhere else. This is not one to deal with. read more

You can't go wrong in dealing with Mattress Warehouse. They stood behind the mattress we originally purchased and when it turned out to not be what we wanted, they quickly replaced it with a different mattress we decided on. Management was helpful and concerned for our needs. Delivery was quick and carefully installed. The manager, Andrew, was helpful and went beyond store policy to make sure we were happy. The delivery crew damaged my synthetic deck during a delivery of a mattress by dragging a heavy mattress across the deck. There was damage that occurred during a delivery from mattress warehouse to my synthetic deck. This was the first attempt at a delivery as the bed was the wrong size. The delivery crew dragged the new box springs and the mattress that they were moving across a deck. In doing so they scratched the composite deck in several places. I contacted Mattress Warehouse Customer Service as soon as I noticed the damage on October 11, 2020 during the second attempt (successful) at delivery. After several weeks I was notified that a claim would not be processed as I did not notify them of damage within 48 hours. No documentation was provided to me to indicate the terms and conditions of a delivery with this policy. read more

Negative 5 stars would be proper rating for the mattress warehouse outlet in Frederick Maryland. Three botched delivery attempts by subcontractors. Once on the wrong day, next with the wrong kit for installation, again with incorrect installation kit. Bed is unusable. Call to district manager John Myers never returned. Mattress Warehouse - My daughters new bed!! - Mattresses Near Me - Frederick, Maryland

I went into the Frederick (Grove Road) Mattress Warehouse location on a Friday evening, the first day of their Memorial Day sale. I went in knowing there was at least a 10% discount on everything in store (based on what the ad said). The sales rep was very nice and not pushy. He put me on the "bed matching" mattress they had which tests which mattress is right for you. The sales rep said the Cheswick Manor is the right mattress for my body type. I tried out the Cheswick Manor and it felt good. I said that the Cheswick Manor was a bit over budget for me so he only showed me one other mattress type in the store (a Serta mattress that felt terrible laying on it, very cheap). Now, I think he did that to trick me into buying the Cheswick Manor Wellington and here is why I think that. The tag on the bed said that the mattress and box spring set was $1399. I asked him "is this the memorial sale price or the original price". He told me that this was the SALE price. Then he offered me a deal where I could get the Mattress and he would throw in free shipping and the bed frame for free as well. Then he also said to save money, he could offer me last years model of the box spring and that would take off $200 from my cost. So I ended up purchasing the whole set for $1,199. After this purchase, I went home to validate my purchase online. On the Mattress Warehouse website, the EXACT SAME mattress that I just purchased was ON SALE for Memorial Day for $999 for the mattress AND box spring set. Online, the original price of the mattress and box spring set was $1,399. So in the store we were LIED TO about the sale price. He told us that it was a sale, but that was a lie, the sale would have made it $999. Not only was that a lie, but the cost of a box spring on the Mattress Warehouse site is only $150. So how is it possible that our sales rep claimed to take off $200 for the box spring when a box spring only even costs $150 to begin with. Additionally, I could not find a single positive review online about the Cheswick Manor so I decided to cancel my mattress order. Went back in to the store and cancelled my order. Still waiting for it to go through (Corporate has to cancel it, the reps can't do it). Hoping it goes through and I don't get ripped off like every other person who has written awful reviews about this place. Never going back here again!! read more

Mattress Warehouse (sleephappens.com) had a mattress delivered to our address on October 10. Problem is that it was the wrong mattress. We immediately called Miriam Daniel, the Internet Sales Manager who was handling the order, and she started to blame the warehouse manager for making the mistake. After a long morning of going back and forth about what they were going to do about their mistake, Miriam, the Internet Sales Manager, said that she promised that the correct mattress would be delivered to us on October 17 and that she was to be help responsible for the problems that we had been having. This is the email that we got from Ashley in customer service regarding the new promised delivery after our call from Miriam... We apologize for the inconvenience you have experienced and would like let you know we are actively working towards a resolution. The correct mattress, Tempur-Pedic Rhapsody Breeze, will be picked up today by the carrier and will be delivered by Thursday, October 17, 2013. It is our understanding you have exchanged telephone calls with Miriam this morning and she has given you an update as to the process in place to make certain you receive the correct mattress. She also has processed a credit of $400.00 to your credit card account for your inconvenience and dissatisfaction. It is our hope you will accept Miriam's apology as well as our apology for the delay you are experiencing in receiving your mattress. Thank you. On Sunday, October 13, we spoke with John Holder, who says he is a regional manager with Mattress Warehouse and he said that if we had any more problems with the order to contact him. We contacted him via email on October 16 at jholder@sleephappens.com to let him know that we had not received a confirmation and had no info on the promised delivery scheduled for today, October 17. This is his response to that email in which he directed it to Miriam... MIRIAM PLEASE HAVE THE INTERNET DEPT. CONTACT CONSUMER WITH DELIVERY CONTACT INFO TO COMPLETE THE EXCHANGE. IT APPEARS THE COMMON CARRIER HAS NOT PROVIDED CONFIRMATION. THANK YOU, JOHN I have spoken with no one or received any emails from anyone at Mattress Warehouse yet today regarding the delivery that was promised to arrive today per Miriam Daniel. I did call the trucking company that delivered the wrong mattress in the first place, AM Trucking, and they said that they will not be delivering the mattress until Monday or Tuesday of next week. AM Trucking received the mattress this week and will not have a delivery truck in our area until next week. My most recent email to Mr. Holder as of October 17 @ 10:10am is as follows... I still have not heard anything from Miriam or anyone else today from Mattress Warehouse (sleephappens.com). Since I have not received any information, emails or phone calls from anyone with Mattress Warehouse regarding the promised delivery for today, I went ahead and called AM Trucking and spoke with Sal in the service department. He saw in the notes regarding our delivery that Mattress Warehouse (sleephappens.com) shipped the wrong mattress to be delivered to us last week. Sal is going to check with the warehouse to see if the mattress has been received and keep me posted on any updates. Update 5 minutes later (WOW, that is excellent customer service that mattress warehouse should take notes from): Just got a call from Neda at AM Trucking. She said that the warehouse received the mattress this week. She also said that the delivery will not arrive until next week, possibly Monday or Tuesday. Mr. Holder... You stated "IT APPEARS THE COMMON CARRIER HAS NOT PROVIDED CONFIRMATION." in your email below. The reason they have not provided confirmation is because there is no delivery to confirm at this time. The protocol for AM Trucking is to call the day before the actual delivery to confirm place and time with the customer. AM Trucking has done their job exactly as they should. To insinuate that they have not provided their service properly is wrong and unprofessional. Please note Mr. Holder... It is 10:10 am and I still have not heard anything from Mattress Warehouse (sleephappens.com). Thank you for your time, Jessica C. Hours later, we are still waiting for some kind of a response from Mattress Warehouse, but so far AM Trucking is the only company answering our calls or returning calls and emails to get updates even though they are just the middle man. read more

When you go to pick up your mattress from the warehouse on New Design road, plan on waiting around a long time. You'd think they'd be staffed enough for people to pick up their mattress in a timely fashion on a Saturday afternoon, but for some reason they are not. Recently, I purchased a mattress from this Mattress Warehouse location and within 1 month the mattress developed a sag in the area of my lower back that made the mattress terribly uncomfortable and did not allow me to get a good nights sleep. Looking at mattress warehouse's website, it very clearly shows that you have a 120 day sleep comfort guarantee on their mattresses however when I went back to the store to complain about this they said that the guarantee only applied to 2 of their specific models in the store (two memory foam types), and not the one I purchased! As a result, I'm stuck with a mattress that the store who sold it to me will not stand behind. If you like chancing on your money and getting stuck with a product that does not meet your expectations, shop here. Otherwise find a mattress seller who will actually honor their customers and ensure that you're satisfied even after you've paid them. read more

Only giving one star because I can't give negative stars. Purchased a couple mattresses and scheduled delivery. We went home and did more research and read horrible reviews on the type we ordered. We immediately (next day) cancelled our order. (May 5th). It is now May 23, so THIRTEEN business days have passed. Day of delivery has come and gone. Still no refund on our credit card. Spent over $3000. All they do is pass me around to different people when I call. I believe they are delaying our refund so the salesperson gets his commission. NEVER shopping here again. Found comparable mattress sets, better frames, and got even more at Mattress Discounters for over $1000 less. read more

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER! This is my second mattress purchase in 4 months and both times they messed up delivery. I HAVE ASKED not to be the first delivery as I live 1 hour away (house unoccupied) AND both times I was the first delivery at 7am. You get no call letting you a delivery window - they just show up. The second time I had a neighbor as a back up but with no notice and such an early delivery they were not dressed. The delivery person left a voice message they were there but I could not get them to answer when I called back to let them know someone was coming, They left after 10 mins. Neighbor saw them leave. IF you buy from them - you need to plan to be ready for a delivery as early as 6:58 am and as late as they feel like. Don't count on a call letting you know a delivery "window" they promise. The drivers will not call you back if you miss their call and hang up on you when you ask for their supervisor. read more

Worse decision we ever made going here... they do not even the one star I had to provide to write this review. My husband and I went to purchase a day bed. Amit to us to the dark storage room to show the 2 they had. Right there is when we should have left. Placed an order and it was to be delivered on Tuesday. Monday at 9pm to tell us that there was a problem. They were to call back on Tuesday, by Thursday still no call. Thursday afternoon I cancelled the order. It is now 5 days later and still no refund. Called and was informed it would take 2 to 3 weeks for it. They have no problem taking your money but have a problem with returning it and customer service. Next call is to BBB and my bank. I don't recommend using this company. The employees, including the manager, are very unprofessional. Example: allowing customers to curse loudly in the showroom just to make a sale, managers being disrespectful to customers, and belching out loud in the showroom, etc. I could go on. This doesn't include the mass confusion and disorganization of the local warehouse where orders are 'hopefully' picked up. read more

I recently bought a new Serta i-series mattress from this store. What a mistake that was! At the time of the sale, the sales person Sahid assured me that Mattress Warehouse have an excellent warranty and the best service should there be an issue. Better than any big store. He also told me when I was buying the mattress,, that it had a cashmere woven top - well unless the ingredients list is fake, there is no cashmere listed. And when the mattress was delivered, it had a long raised ridge down the top left side (3.5-4 f long, 3" wide and 2" high), and we were told it should settle, it was just from carrying it in. A week and a half later it was still there so I called the store, only to be told to go online and fill out a warranty claim. I was then told a "certified inspection company " would contact me to come and inspect the item, and this despite the picture I sent them. Three weeks later we still have the mattress, and no replacement in sight. A friend bought a Serta Comfort series from Sears, and within 2 weeks they discovered an issue with it. She called Sears, and the mattress was replaced....in 4 days from her call!!!! Outrageously bad service on a brand new item! I was sold a lemon! Go to any other store but theirs. read more

Was kicked out of this outlet store for taking a picture of the mattress my wife and I were thinking of buying... I didn't know I was breaking the store policy as there was nothing posted to indicate so... The salesman was at first quite accommodating however I guess he was quite offended at the questions we were asking about the products. We were then screamed at and asked to leave. I tried to explain that I was not aware of any store policy and apologized for my error. This particular salesman then continued to scream and yell as we excused ourselves from the building. Hardly the kind of customer service that wins any company business. Also the price we were quoted by this salesman was several hundred dollars more than on the Mattress Warehouse webpage... so much for price matching. IF I could rate this company lower I certainly would. Also, the 3 other salesmen in the building were seemingly complicit in this salesman poor treatment of their customers. If it was my company I would fire the lot of them and seriously consider the people I hire as well make clear to the customers any store policies that may exist... Maybe a sign saying photographs of the products we sell are not allowed.... maybe in bold print on the front door? Still not sure why taking a photo of a mattress is a cause of concern... they must have something to hide. read more

I could not be more disappointed with the mattress, the way my complaint was handled, and the fact that the replacement mattress was just as flawed as the first one. This "business" is pathetic. First of all, they said they would call the night before with a delivery time for the next day. They never did. Instead, the called at 7:55 am to say they were on their way. When they arrived, they had "forgotten" one of the items. They did not offer to go back and pick it up, credit the acct., or anything. Since I had ordered this for someone else and was not present for the delivery, I found out about the situation later. I called the store, and was told to "come in and pick it up." When I said I wanted it delivered, since I did pay $65.00 for delivery, I was told "we don't do that. You'll have to come in and get it." Then I was told "I'll call you back-i'm with a customer." Needless to say, I never received a return call. The next morning i called the customer service # that was on my online receipt-I was told to call the district mgr-Tarq-at x300. I left him a message-it's been 3 days now-and of course, never received a return call. I have filed a complaint with my credit card co., which is going to do an investigation. We were in the market for a new king size mattress. We went to our local Mattress Warehouse dealer here in Frederick, MD, the 7315 Grove Road location. We had a very helpful, low pressure sales associate who helped us try out several beds. He also had us lay on their bed selector simulator, to help guide us in our purchasing decision. We decided to purchase a King Size, Kingsdown, Enchantment, Eurotop Mattress. We also purchased a box spring set and frame. Although the service was acceptable the quality of the mattress has been terrible! We purchased the mattress and box springs for $3,360.00 in April 2016. By mid-July were seeing significant sagging on the left side of the mattress and some sagging on the right. I am 5'8" and 132 lbs and sleep on the left side of the bed. We were shocked as we didn't see this kind of wear on our previous mattress until we had owned it over 10 years. We contacted Mattress Warehouse and they sent out a representative to check the mattress and take some measurements of the sagging. About a week after the representative came to our home we were contacted by email with a voucher to make an exchange of the mattress or replace it with another mattress. However, we feel no confidence in getting another mattress through their company. We requested that we get a refund for the return of the mattress. We were informed that when we signed for the purchase of the mattress we agreed that we could not receive a refund only an exchange. That is a significant piece of information that we were not informed of when we purchased the mattress. In this day and age of promises of quality and customer satisfaction we were surprised that they would refuse a return of a faulty product and issuing a refund. When purchasing a mattress in the future we will go with a Sleep Number Bed where they are truly committed to customer satisfaction. I would NOT recommend purchasing a mattress from Mattress Warehouse. We are very disappointed in the poor quality of the mattress, the lack of concern for customer satisfaction and customer service. read more
